既出、謂之曰、爾其遁逃、以全生命、毋返顧、毋止平原、宜避於山、免爾滅亡、

曰、爾必遁逃、以全生命、毋回顧、毋止於平原、當避於山、否則必亡、

既導之出外、乃曰、爾當逃遁、以保全生命、毋回顧、毋止平原、當遁於山、免爾滅亡、

As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said,“ Flee for your lives! Don’t look back, and don’t stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!”

When they were safely out of the city, one of the angels ordered,“ Run for your lives! And don’t look back or stop anywhere in the valley! Escape to the mountains, or you will be swept away!”

As soon as the angels got them outside, one of them said,“ Run for your lives! Don’t look back and don’t stop anywhere on the plain! Run to the mountains, or you will be swept away!”

那時，在猶太的人應當逃到山裡；在屋頂上的人，不要下來拿屋子裡的東西；在田裡的人，不要返回去拿自己的衣服。

羅得的妻子在後面回頭一望，就變成了一根鹽柱。

耶穌對他說：「手扶著犁又看背後之事的人，不配神的國。」

你趕快逃到那裡，因為你到達那裡之前，我什麼也不能做。」因此那城的名字稱為瑣珥。

弟兄們，我不認為自己已經得著了；但是我有一件事：就是忘記背後，爭取前面的，向著目標竭力追求，為了得到那在基督耶穌裡、神至高召喚的獎賞。

在那一天，在屋頂上的人，如果東西在屋子裡，不要下來拿；同樣，在田裡的人，也不要轉回到背後的事上。你們當記得羅得的妻子！

約翰看見許多法利賽人和撒都該人也來要受他的洗禮，就對他們說：「你們這些毒蛇的子孫！誰指示你們逃避那將要來臨的震怒呢？

羅得舉目，看見整個約旦河平原直到瑣珥都是水源充足之地；在耶和華毀掉所多瑪、格摩拉之前，那地好像耶和華的園子，又像埃及地。

我要向群山舉目，我的幫助從哪裡來？

羅得就出去，告訴將要娶他女兒的女婿們說：「起來！離開這地方，因為耶和華就要毀滅這城了！」但在他們的眼中，他像是在開玩笑。黎明時分，天使們催促羅得說：「起來！帶著你的妻子和你在這裡的兩個女兒離開，免得你因這城的罪孽被一同除滅。」

掃羅派人到大衛家去監視他，要在清晨殺他。大衛的妻子米甲警告大衛說：「你今夜如果不逃命，明天就會被殺死。」

其中兩人轉身離開那裡往所多瑪去，而亞伯拉罕仍然站在耶和華的面前。

那麼，如果我們忽視了如此偉大的救恩，又怎麼能逃脫報應呢？這救恩起初由主傳講，後來由那些聽見的人向我們證實。
