So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were pledged to marry his daughters. He said,“ Hurry and get out of this place, because the Lord is about to destroy the city!” But his sons-in-law thought he was joking.

Then Lot went out and spoke to his sons- in- law. They had promised to marry his daughters. He said,“ Hurry up! Get out of this place! The Lord is about to destroy the city!” But his sons- in- law thought he was joking.

So Lot went out and said to his sons-in-law, who were to marry his daughters,“ Up! Get out of this place, for the Lord is about to destroy the city.” But he seemed to his sons-in-law to be jesting.

So Lot rushed out to tell his daughters’ fiancés,“ Quick, get out of the city! The Lord is about to destroy it.” But the young men thought he was only joking.

So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were going to marry his daughters.“ Get up,” he said.“ Get out of this place, for the LORD is about to destroy the city!” But his sons-in-law thought he was joking.

So Lot went out and spoke to his sons in law, who were to marry his daughters, and said,“ Up, get out of this place, for the Lord is destroying the city.” But he appeared to his sons in law to be joking.

And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons- in- law, who married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for Jehovah will destroy the city. But he seemed unto his sons- in- law as one that mocked.

Lot went out, and spoke to his sons- in- law, who were pledged to marry his daughters, and said,“ Get up! Get out of this place, for Yahweh will destroy the city!” But he seemed to his sons- in- law to be joking.

接著，我聽見另一個聲音從天上傳來，說：「我的子民哪，你們要從她那裡出來，免得在她的罪孽上有份，也免得遭受她所受的災害，因為她的罪孽滔天，神也記得她的罪行。她怎樣待人，你們也要怎樣待她，並照著她的行為加倍地報應她；你們要在她混合酒的杯子裡，加倍地混合給她喝。她怎樣炫耀自己、驕奢淫逸，你們也要照樣給她折磨和悲傷，因為她心裡說：『我坐著女王的位子，我不是寡婦，絕不會經歷悲傷。』為此，在一天之內她所受的災害，就是死亡、悲傷和饑荒，就要來到。她將要在烈火中被燒掉，因為主、神——審判她的那一位是強有力的。」

可是這些話在使徒們看來似乎是胡說，他們就不相信婦女們。

現在，你們不可再譏諷了，免得捆綁你們的繩索綁得更緊，因為我從主萬軍之耶和華那裡聽到了那註定要臨到全地的滅絕。

屢次受責，仍然硬著頸項的人，頃刻之間就會被摧毀，無法挽回。

同樣，就像在羅得的那些日子裡發生的那樣：人們繼續吃喝、買賣、耕種、建造，到了羅得離開所多瑪的那一天，烈火和硫磺就從天而降，把一切都毀滅了。人子顯現的那一天，也將是同樣的。

就說：「你們退去吧！這女孩不是死了，而是睡了。」他們就譏笑他。

他們聽到死人復活的事，雖然有些人嘲笑他，但有些人卻說：「關於此事，我們還要再聽你說！」

當人們正說「和平」、「安全」的時候，毀滅那時就突然臨到他們，就像孕婦的臨產陣痛那樣，他們絕不能逃脫。

那孩子上前來的時候，鬼魔把他摔倒，使他劇烈地抽瘋。耶穌就斥責那汙靈，使孩子痊癒，把孩子交給他父親。

耶穌基督的誕生是這樣的：耶穌的母親瑪麗亞已經許配給約瑟，在他們成婚以前，瑪麗亞就由聖靈懷了孕。

你趕快逃到那裡，因為你到達那裡之前，我什麼也不能做。」因此那城的名字稱為瑣珥。

那兩個人把他們領到外面以後，其中一位說：「逃命吧！不要向後看，也不要在平原的任何一處停留；要逃到山上，免得你被除滅。」
