Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

Abram believed the Lord. The Lord was pleased with Abram because he believed. So Abram’s faith made him right with the Lord.

And he believed the Lord, and he counted it to him as righteousness.

And Abram believed the Lord, and the Lord counted him as righteous because of his faith.

Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

Then he believed in the Lord; and He credited it to him as righteousness.

And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.

And he believed in Jehovah; and he reckoned it to him for righteousness.

Abram believed the LORD, and the LORD considered his response of faith as proof of genuine loyalty.

He believed in Yahweh, who credited it to him for righteousness.

And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

[ Cometh] this blessedness then upon the circumcision[ only], or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.

Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham,[ saying], In thee shall all nations be blessed.So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed[ is] every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God,[ it is] evident: for, The just shall live by faith.And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed[ is] every one that hangeth on a tree:That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.

By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which[ he had yet] being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:

To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
