In that day Jehovah made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said,“ To your descendants I give this land, from the Wadi of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates—

And Jehovah appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto Jehovah, who appeared unto him.

for all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.

and foundest his heart faithful before thee, and madest a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite, and the Girgashite, to give it unto his seed, and hast performed thy words; for thou art righteous.

Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, to you have I given it, as I spake unto Moses.From the wilderness, and this Lebanon, even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your border.

and I will multiply thy seed as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these lands; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;

Every place whereon the sole of your foot shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness, and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the hinder sea shall be your border.

Jehovah, the God of heaven, who took me from my father’s house, and from the land of my nativity, and who spake unto me, and who sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he will send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife for my son from thence.

And Jehovah said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.

I will send my terror before thee, and will discomfit all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.And I will send the hornet before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.I will not drive them out from before thee in one year, lest the land become desolate, and the beasts of the field multiply against thee.By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.And I will set thy border from the Red Sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness unto the River: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand: and thou shalt drive them out before thee.

Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was a husband unto them, saith Jehovah.But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith Jehovah: I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know Jehovah; for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith Jehovah: for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more.

and the border shall turn about from Azmon unto the brook of Egypt, and the goings out thereof shall be at the sea.

Now the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, even our Lord Jesus,

And Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the River unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought tribute, and served Solomon all the days of his life.

turn you, and take your journey, and go to the hill- country of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the Arabah, in the hill- country, and in the lowland, and in the South, and by the sea- shore, the land of the Canaanites, and Lebanon, as far as the great river, the river Euphrates.Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which Jehovah sware unto your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them.

And he ruled over all the kings from the River even unto the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt.

For mine angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Canaanite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite: and I will cut them off.

Verily my house is not so with God; Yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, Ordered in all things, and sure: For it is all my salvation, and all my desire, Although he maketh it not to grow.

And, behold, Jehovah stood above it, and said, I am Jehovah, the God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;and thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, Jehovah appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be thou perfect.And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be the father of a multitude of nations.Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for the father of a multitude of nations have I made thee.And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee.And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land of thy sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.And God said unto Abraham, And as for thee, thou shalt keep my covenant, thou, and thy seed after thee throughout their generations.This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee: every male among you shall be circumcised.And ye shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of a covenant betwixt me and you.And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every male throughout your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any foreigner that is not of thy seed.He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.And the uncircumcised male who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.And I will bless her, and moreover I will give thee a son of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of peoples shall be of her.Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is a hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?And Abraham said unto God, Oh that Ishmael might live before thee!And God said, Nay, but Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his seed after him.And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.And he left off talking with him, and God went up from Abraham.And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham’s house, and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as God had said unto him.And Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.In the selfsame day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his son.And all the men of his house, those born in the house, and those bought with money of a foreigner, were circumcised with him.

and I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good; and I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.

Incline your ear, and come unto me; hear, and your soul shall live: and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that Jehovah will beat off his fruit from the flood of the River unto the brook of Egypt; and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel.

Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance;

Thus saith Jehovah: If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, so that there shall not be day and night in their season;then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he shall not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured; so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.And the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah, saying,Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which Jehovah did choose, he hath cast them off? thus do they despise my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.Thus saith Jehovah: If my covenant of day and night stand not, if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;then will I also cast away the seed of Jacob, and of David my servant, so that I will not take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and will have mercy on them.

And the second lot came out for Simeon, even for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families: and their inheritance was in the midst of the inheritance of the children of Judah.And they had for their inheritance Beer- sheba, or Sheba, and Moladah,and Hazar- shual, and Balah, and Ezem,and Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,and Ziklag, and Beth- marcaboth, and Hazar- susah,and Beth- lebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities with their villages:Ain, Rimmon, and Ether, and Ashan; four cities with their villages:and all the villages that were round about these cities to Baalath- beer, Ramah of the South. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.Out of the part of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon; for the portion of the children of Judah was too much for them: therefore the children of Simeon had inheritance in the midst of their inheritance.And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families. And the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid;and their border went up westward, even to Maralah, and reached to Dabbesheth; and it reached to the brook that is before Jokneam;and it turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrising unto the border of Chisloth- tabor; and it went out to Daberath, and went up to Japhia;and from thence it passed along eastward to Gath- hepher, to Eth- kazin; and it went out at Rimmon which stretcheth unto Neah;and the border turned about it on the north to Hannathon; and the goings out thereof were at the valley of Iphtah- el;and Kattath, and Nahalal, and Shimron, and Idalah, and Bethlehem: twelve cities with their villages.This is the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.The fourth lot came out for Issachar, even for the children of Issachar according to their families.And their border was unto Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,and Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,and Rabbith, and Kishion, and Ebez,and Remeth, and Engannim, and En- haddah, and Beth- pazzez,and the border reached to Tabor, and Shahazumah, and Beth- shemesh; and the goings out of their border were at the Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities with their villages.And the fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.And their border was Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,and Allammelech, and Amad, and Mishal; and it reached to Carmel westward, and to Shihor- libnath;and it turned toward the sunrising to Beth- dagon, and reached to Zebulun, and to the valley of Iphtah- el northward to Beth- emek and Neiel; and it went out to Cabul on the left hand,and Ebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, even unto great Sidon;and the border turned to Ramah, and to the fortified city of Tyre; and the border turned to Hosah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea by the region of Achzib;Ummah also, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty and two cities with their villages.This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.The sixth lot came out for the children of Naphtali, even for the children of Naphtali according to their families.And their border was from Heleph, from the oak in Zaanannim, and Adami- nekeb, and Jabneel, unto Lakkum; and the goings out thereof were at the Jordan;and the border turned westward to Aznoth- tabor, and went out from thence to Hukkok; and it reached to Zebulun on the south, and reached to Asher on the west, and to Judah at the Jordan toward the sunrising.And the fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,and Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,and Kedesh, and Edrei, and En- hazor,And Iron, and Migdal- el, Horem, and Beth- anath, and Beth- shemesh; nineteen cities with their villages.

And Joseph said unto his brethren, I die; but God will surely visit you, and bring you up out of this land unto the land which he sware to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their sojournings, wherein they sojourned.

and give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land of thy sojournings, which God gave unto Abraham.

Observe thou that which I command thee this day: behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

and eastward he dwelt even unto the entrance of the wilderness from the river Euphrates, because their cattle were multiplied in the land of Gilead.

and I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Amorite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

Brethren, I speak after the manner of men: Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet when it hath been confirmed, no one maketh it void, or addeth thereto.Now to Abraham were the promises spoken, and to his seed. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.Now this I say: A covenant confirmed beforehand by God, the law, which came four hundred and thirty years after, doth not disannul, so as to make the promise of none effect.

and it passed along to Azmon, and went out at the brook of Egypt; and the goings out of the border were at the sea: this shall be your south border.

And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth in front of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying,And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;and with every living creature that is with you, the birds, the cattle, and every beast of the earth with you; of all that go out of the ark, even every beast of the earth.And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of the flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud,and I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

When Jehovah thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and shall cast out many nations before thee, the Hittite, and the Girgashite, and the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;

Now these are the kings of the land, whom the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land beyond the Jordan toward the sunrising, from the valley of the Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the Arabah eastward:Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and half Gilead, even unto the river Jabbok, the border of the children of Ammon;and the Arabah unto the sea of Chinneroth, eastward, and unto the sea of the Arabah, even the Salt Sea, eastward, the way to Beth- jeshimoth; and on the south, under the slopes of Pisgah:and the border of Og king of Bashan, of the remnant of the Rephaim, who dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,and ruled in mount Hermon, and in Salecah, and in all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.Moses the servant of Jehovah and the children of Israel smote them: and Moses the servant of Jehovah gave it for a possession unto the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half- tribe of Manasseh.And these are the kings of the land whom Joshua and the children of Israel smote beyond the Jordan westward, from Baal- gad in the valley of Lebanon even unto mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir( and Joshua gave it unto the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions;in the hill- country, and in the lowland, and in the Arabah, and in the slopes, and in the wilderness, and in the South; the Hittite, the Amorite, and the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite):the king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one;the king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;the king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;the king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;the king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;the king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one;the king of Libnah, one; the king of Adullam, one;the king of Makkedah, one; the king of Bethel, one;the king of Tappuah, one; the king of Hepher, one;the king of Aphek, one; the king of Lassharon, one;the king of Madon, one; the king of Hazor, one;the king of Shimron- meron, one; the king of Achshaph, one;

Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan( this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to the borders thereof),then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the side of Edom, and your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward;

David smote also Hadadezer the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, as he went to recover his dominion at the River.

and the land which I gave unto Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land.
