But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ With raised hand I have sworn an oath to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand to make a promise to the Lord. He is the Most High God. He is the Creator of heaven and earth.

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have lifted my hand to the Lord, God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth,

Abram replied to the king of Sodom,“ I solemnly swear to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand in an oath to the LORD, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have lifted up my hand to Yahweh, God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth,

我起誓应许给亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的地，我要领你们进去，将那地赐给你们为业。我是耶和华。’”

我听见那在河水之上、穿细麻衣的，向天举起左右手，指着那活到永远的起誓说：“要到一年、两年，又半年，粉碎圣民力量结束的时候，这一切的事就要应验。”

我所看见的那踏海踏地的天使向天举起右手，指着创造天和天上之物、地和地上之物、海和海中之物、直活到永永远远的那位起誓，说：“不再有时日了。”

地和其中所充满的，世界和住在其中的，都属耶和华。

愿他们认识你的名是耶和华，惟独你是掌管全地的至高者！

我向天举手，我凭我的永生起誓说：

亚伯拉罕就在别是巴种了一棵柳树，在那里求告耶和华—永恒神的名。

“时候到了，我—尼布甲尼撒举目望天，我的知识复归于我，我就称颂至高者，赞美尊敬活到永远的神。他的权柄存到永远，他的国度存到万代。

银子是我的，金子也是我的。这是万军之耶和华说的。

耶弗他一看见她，就撕裂衣服，说：“哀哉！我的女儿啊，你使我非常悲痛，叫我十分为难了。因为我已经向耶和华开了口，不能收回。”

我愿你如今在这里指着神对我起誓，不要亏待我和我的儿子，以及我的子孙。我怎样忠诚待你，你也要照样忠诚待我和你所寄居的这地。”亚伯拉罕说：“我愿意起誓。”先前，亚比米勒的仆人霸占了一口水井，亚伯拉罕为这事责备亚比米勒。亚比米勒说：“我不知道谁做了这事，你也没有告诉我，我到今日才听到。”亚伯拉罕把羊和牛给了亚比米勒，二人就彼此立约。亚伯拉罕把七只小母羊另放在一处。亚比米勒对亚伯拉罕说：“你把这七只小母羊另放一处是什么意思呢？”他说：“你要从我手里接受这七只小母羊，作我挖了这口井的证据。”所以他给那地方起名叫别是巴，因为他们二人在那里起了誓。

亚伯兰九十九岁时，耶和华向他显现，对他说：“我是全能的神。你当在我面前行走，作完全的人，

那至高无上、永远长存、名为圣者的如此说：“我住在至高至圣的所在，却与心灵痛悔的谦卑人同住；要使谦卑的人心灵苏醒，使痛悔的人内心复苏。

他为亚伯兰祝福，说：“愿至高的神、天地的主赐福给亚伯兰！至高的神把敌人交在你手里，他是应当称颂的！”亚伯兰就把所有的拿出十分之一给他。
