But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have lifted my hand to the Lord, God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth,

但亚伯兰对所多玛王说：“我曾经向耶和华至高神、天地的主宰举手起誓：

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：「我已經向天地的主－至高的神耶和華起誓：

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：「我指着耶和華－至高的上帝、天地的主起誓：

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：「我指着耶和華－至高的神、天地的主起誓：

亞伯蘭對他說：「我向創造天地的主、至高的上帝耶和華起誓，

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：“我已經向創造天地的主、至高的神耶和華舉手起誓；

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：『我已經向天地的製作主，至高者上帝永恆主舉手起誓；

但亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：「我曾經向耶和華至高神、天地的主宰舉手起誓：

亞伯蘭曰、我已舉手、指至高之上帝、天地之主宰耶和華而誓、

亞伯蘭曰、吾指至高之上帝、天地之主、耶和華而誓、

亞伯蘭謂所多瑪王曰、我指天地之主宰、至高天主耶和華而誓、

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ With raised hand I have sworn an oath to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand to make a promise to the Lord. He is the Most High God. He is the Creator of heaven and earth.

Abram replied to the king of Sodom,“ I solemnly swear to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand in an oath to the LORD, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have sworn to the Lord God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand to the Lord, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth,

And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lifted up my hand unto Jehovah, God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand in an oath to Yahweh, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,

But Abram replied to the king of Sodom,“ I raise my hand to the LORD, the Most High God, Creator of heaven and earth, and vow

Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have lifted up my hand to Yahweh, God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth,

I will bring you into the land that I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. I will give it to you for a possession. I am the Lord.’”

And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream; he raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven and swore by him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time, and that when the shattering of the power of the holy people comes to an end all these things would be finished.

And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heavenand swore by him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and what is in it, the earth and what is in it, and the sea and what is in it, that there would be no more delay,

The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein,

that they may know that you alone, whose name is the Lord, are the Most High over all the earth.

For I lift up my hand to heaven and swear, As I live forever,

Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba and called there on the name of the Lord, the Everlasting God.

At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored him who lives forever, for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom endures from generation to generation;

The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, declares the Lord of hosts.

And as soon as he saw her, he tore his clothes and said,“ Alas, my daughter! You have brought me very low, and you have become the cause of great trouble to me. For I have opened my mouth to the Lord, and I cannot take back my vow.”

Now therefore swear to me here by God that you will not deal falsely with me or with my descendants or with my posterity, but as I have dealt kindly with you, so you will deal with me and with the land where you have sojourned.”And Abraham said,“ I will swear.”When Abraham reproved Abimelech about a well of water that Abimelech’s servants had seized,Abimelech said,“ I do not know who has done this thing; you did not tell me, and I have not heard of it until today.”So Abraham took sheep and oxen and gave them to Abimelech, and the two men made a covenant.Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock apart.And Abimelech said to Abraham,“ What is the meaning of these seven ewe lambs that you have set apart?”He said,“ These seven ewe lambs you will take from my hand, that this may be a witness for me that I dug this well.”Therefore that place was called Beersheba, because there both of them swore an oath.

When Abram was ninety-nine years old the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him,“ I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless,

For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:“ I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite.

And he blessed him and said,“ Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth;and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand!” And Abram gave him a tenth of everything.
