All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever.

I will give you all the land you see. I will give it forever to you and your family who comes after you.

The Lord appeared to Abram and said,“ To your offspring I will give this land.” So he built an altar there to the Lord, who had appeared to him.

Our God, did you not drive out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel and give it forever to the descendants of Abraham your friend?

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Leave this place, you and the people you brought up out of Egypt, and go up to the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, saying,‘ I will give it to your descendants.’

take some of the firstfruits of all that you produce from the soil of the land the Lord your God is giving you and put them in a basket. Then go to the place the Lord your God will choose as a dwelling for his Nameand say to the priest in office at the time,“ I declare today to the Lord your God that I have come to the land the Lord swore to our ancestors to give us.”The priest shall take the basket from your hands and set it down in front of the altar of the Lord your God.

He gave him no inheritance here, not even enough ground to set his foot on. But God promised him that he and his descendants after him would possess the land, even though at that time Abraham had no child.

the covenant he made with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac.He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant:“ To you I will give the land of Canaan as the portion you will inherit.”When they were but few in number, few indeed, and strangers in it,

“ You are the Lord God, who chose Abram and brought him out of Ur of the Chaldeans and named him Abraham.You found his heart faithful to you, and you made a covenant with him to give to his descendants the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Jebusites and Girgashites. You have kept your promise because you are righteous.

Then the boundary will go down along the Jordan and end at the Dead Sea.“‘ This will be your land, with its boundaries on every side.’”Moses commanded the Israelites:“ Assign this land by lot as an inheritance. The Lord has ordered that it be given to the nine- and- a- half tribes,because the families of the tribe of Reuben, the tribe of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance.These two- and- a- half tribes have received their inheritance east of the Jordan across from Jericho, toward the sunrise.”The Lord said to Moses,“ These are the names of the men who are to assign the land for you as an inheritance: Eleazar the priest and Joshua son of Nun.And appoint one leader from each tribe to help assign the land.These are their names: Caleb son of Jephunneh, from the tribe of Judah;Shemuel son of Ammihud, from the tribe of Simeon;Elidad son of Kislon, from the tribe of Benjamin;Bukki son of Jogli, the leader from the tribe of Dan;Hanniel son of Ephod, the leader from the tribe of Manasseh son of Joseph;Kemuel son of Shiphtan, the leader from the tribe of Ephraim son of Joseph;Elizaphan son of Parnak, the leader from the tribe of Zebulun;Paltiel son of Azzan, the leader from the tribe of Issachar;Ahihud son of Shelomi, the leader from the tribe of Asher;Pedahel son of Ammihud, the leader from the tribe of Naphtali.”These are the men the Lord commanded to assign the inheritance to the Israelites in the land of Canaan.

Stay in this land for a while, and I will be with you and will bless you. For to you and your descendants I will give all these lands and will confirm the oath I swore to your father Abraham.I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and will give them all these lands, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed,

There above it stood the Lord, and he said:“ I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying.

The land I gave to Abraham and Isaac I also give to you, and I will give this land to your descendants after you.”

and said to me,‘ I am going to make you fruitful and increase your numbers. I will make you a community of peoples, and I will give this land as an everlasting possession to your descendants after you.’

I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.The whole land of Canaan, where you now reside as a foreigner, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God.”

Then the Lord said to him,“ This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob when I said,‘ I will give it to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross over into it.”

May he give you and your descendants the blessing given to Abraham, so that you may take possession of the land where you now reside as a foreigner, the land God gave to Abraham.”

“ Command the Israelites and say to them:‘ When you enter Canaan, the land that will be allotted to you as an inheritance is to have these boundaries:

On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said,“ To your descendants I give this land, from the Wadi of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates—

“ The Lord, the God of heaven, who brought me out of my father’s household and my native land and who spoke to me and promised me on oath, saying,‘ To your offspring I will give this land’— he will send his angel before you so that you can get a wife for my son from there.

The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever.

those the Lord blesses will inherit the land, but those he curses will be destroyed.

For a little while your people possessed your holy place, but now our enemies have trampled down your sanctuary.

Praise the Lord. Blessed are those who fear the Lord, who find great delight in his commands.Their children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.

Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all nations on earth will be blessed through him.
