And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son’s son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram’s wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.

Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, the wife of his son Abram, and together they set out from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to Canaan. But when they came to Harran, they settled there.

Terah left Ur in Babylon. He took with him his son Abram and his grandson Lot, the son of Haran. Terah also took his daughter- in- law Sarai, the wife of his son Abram. All of them left together to go to Canaan. But when they came to Harran, they made their home there.

So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram[ was] seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

And he said unto him, I[ am] the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

And the servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed; for all the goods of his master[ were] in his hand: and he arose, and went to Mesopotamia, unto the city of Nahor.

And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran.Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

Now therefore, my son, obey my voice; and arise, flee thou to Laban my brother to Haran;

By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

And Jacob said unto them, My brethren, whence[ be] ye? And they said, Of Haran[ are] we.And he said unto them, Know ye Laban the son of Nahor? And they said, We know[ him].

And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.Now these[ are] the generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot.And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees.

And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham’s brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder.
