就在那一天，耶和华与亚伯兰立约，说：“我已经把这地赐给你的后裔，从埃及河直到幼发拉底大河，就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫提人、比利洗人、利乏音人、亚摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人之地。”

那时，耶和华就使硫磺与火从天而降，从耶和华那里降在所多玛和格摩拉，使那些城和整个平原，连同各城所有的居民和地上生长的都遭覆灭。

在亚伯拉罕日子里的那次饥荒以外，那地又有了饥荒。于是以撒就往基拉耳去，到了非利士人的王亚比米勒那里。

然后耶和华说：“控告所多玛和格摩拉的呼声非常大，他们的罪恶极其深重；
