God said,“ Let’s make man in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

Then God said,“ Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

Then God said,“ Let us make human beings so that they are like us. Let them rule over the fish in the seas and the birds in the sky. Let them rule over the livestock and all the wild animals. And let them rule over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

Then God said,“ Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

Then God said,“ Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”

Then God said,“ Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness. They will rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the livestock, the whole earth, and the creatures that crawl on the earth.”

and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator,

and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.

Yahweh God said,“ Behold, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand, and also take of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever—”

what is man, that you think of him? What is the son of man, that you care for him?For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and crowned him with glory and honor.You make him ruler over the works of your hands. You have put all things under his feet:All sheep and cattle, yes, and the animals of the field,the birds of the sky, the fish of the sea, and whatever passes through the paths of the seas.

But we all, with unveiled face seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.

Know that Yahweh, he is God. It is he who has made us, and we are his. We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men who are made in the image of God.

This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, he made him in God’s likeness.

The fear of you and the dread of you will be on every animal of the earth, and on every bird of the sky. Everything that moves along the ground, and all the fish of the sea, are delivered into your hand.Every moving thing that lives will be food for you. As I gave you the green herb, I have given everything to you.But flesh with its life, that is, its blood, you shall not eat.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

But now, Yahweh, you are our Father. We are the clay and you our potter. We all are the work of your hand.

For a man indeed ought not to have his head covered, because he is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of the man.

But one has somewhere testified, saying,“ What is man, that you think of him? Or the son of man, that you care for him?You made him a little lower than the angels. You crowned him with glory and honor.You have put all things in subjection under his feet.” For in that he subjected all things to him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we don’t see all things subjected to him, yet.But we see him who has been made a little lower than the angels, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for everyone.

in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.

Whoever sheds man’s blood, his blood will be shed by man, for God made man in his own image.

Behold, I have only found this: that God made man upright; but they search for many schemes.”

Jesus answered him,“ If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him.

Let Israel rejoice in him who made them. Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

‘ For in him we live, move, and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said,‘ For we are also his offspring.’Being then the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold, or silver, or stone, engraved by art and design of man.

You make darkness, and it is night, in which all the animals of the forest prowl.The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their food from God.The sun rises, and they steal away, and lie down in their dens.Man goes out to his work, to his labor until the evening.Yahweh, how many are your works! In wisdom, you have made them all. The earth is full of your riches.

For every kind of animal, bird, creeping thing, and sea creature, is tamed, and has been tamed by mankind;

He made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons, and the boundaries of their dwellings,

Come, let’s go down, and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.”

Now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant. I have also given the animals of the field to him to serve him.

I heard the Lord’s voice, saying,“ Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said,“ Here I am. Send me!”

For you will be allied with the stones of the field. The animals of the field will be at peace with you.

But Jesus answered them,“ My Father is still working, so I am working, too.”

But no one says,‘ Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night,

For you bring certain strange things to our ears. We want to know therefore what these things mean.”
