神祝福挪亞和他的兒子們，對他們說：「你們要繁衍增多，充滿大地。

你的妻子在你的內室，如同多結果實的葡萄樹；你的兒女圍繞你的桌子，如同橄欖樹的幼苗。

我們的倉庫滿滿，供應各樣的物產；我們的羊群成千上萬，在我們的田野中繁衍。我們的牛群滿負貨物，城牆也沒有破口，沒有人流亡，我們的廣場上也沒有哭聲。

耶和華的祝福使人富有，並且他不會加上勞苦。

願他們因耶和華的慈愛，以及他向世人顯明的奇妙作為稱謝他！

拉班對他說：「如果我在你眼前蒙恩，就請留下；我占卜得知，耶和華是因你的緣故才祝福我的。」

其實在我來之前，你擁有的很少，後來卻大大增多了；耶和華隨著我的腳蹤祝福了你；而如今，我什麼時候才能為自己的家做點事呢？」

神又對他說：「我是全能的神；你要繁衍增多；必有一國和眾邦之國從你而來，眾君王也必從你生出。
