你造月亮为定节令；太阳知道何时沉落。你安设黑暗，有了晚上，林中的百兽就都爬出来。

白昼是你的，黑夜也是你的，月亮和太阳，都是你设立的。地上的一切疆界都是你立定的，夏天和冬天都是你制定的。

我观看你手所造的天，和你所安放的月亮和星星。啊！人算什么，你竟记念他？世人算什么，你竟眷顾他？

太阳和月亮啊！你们要赞美他；光亮的星星啊！你们都要赞美他。

那使太阳白昼发光，派定月亮和星辰照耀黑夜，又搅动海洋，使海浪澎湃的，万军之耶和华是他的名，他这样说：

要称谢那造成大光的，因为他的慈爱永远长存。他造太阳管白昼，因为他的慈爱永远长存。他造月亮和星星管黑夜，因为他的慈爱永远长存。

他把它们立定，直到永永远远；他立了定律，永不废去（“废去”或译：“越过”）。

耶和华这样说：“你们不要学习列国的行径，列国因天象惊惶，你们却不要因这些惊惶。

日月昏暗，星星无光。

你们向天举目吧！看是谁创造了这些万象？是谁按着数目把万象领出来，一一指名呼唤？因他的大能大力，连一个也不缺少。

大地尚存之日，播种、收割，寒暑、冬夏、白昼和黑夜必然循环不息。”

我要在天上地下显出神迹奇事，有血、有火、有烟柱。太阳将变为黑暗，月亮将变为血红。在耶和华伟大可畏的日子临到以前，这一切都要发生。

我毁灭你的时候，必把天遮蔽，使天上的星昏暗，用密云遮盖太阳；月亮也必不发光。我必使天上所有的光体都在你以上变为昏暗；我必使黑暗笼罩你的地；这是主耶和华的宣告。

在他们面前，大地震动，诸天摇撼，日月昏暗，星星无光。

羊羔揭开了第六个印的时候，我观看，大地震就发生了。太阳变黑，像粗糙的黑毛布；整个月亮变红，像血一样；

要在月朔，在月望，在我们守节的日子吹角。

自你有生以来，你何曾吩咐过晨光照耀，使黎明的曙光知道自己的本位，叫这光照遍大地的四极，把恶人从那里抖掉呢？因着这光，地面改变如在泥上盖上印，万象显出如衣服一样。

“日月星辰将有异兆；在地上，各国也要因着海洋波涛的咆哮而困苦不安。天上的万象震动，人因为等待即将临到世界的事，都吓昏了。

你能系住昴星的结吗？你能解开参星的带吗？你能按时领出玛查鲁夫星系吗？你能引导北斗和随从它的众星吗？

“耶和华这样说：‘你们若能废掉我所立白昼和黑夜的约，使白昼和黑夜不按时更替，

太阳没有光，圣所的幔子从当中裂开。

他要在月朔献一头无残疾的公牛犊、六只羊羔和一只公绵羊，都是无残疾的。

说：“那生下来作犹太人的王的在哪里？我们看见他的星出现，特来朝拜他。”

主耶和华这样说：“内院朝东的门，在工作的六天里，必须关闭，在安息日却要打开，在月朔之日也要打开。

耶稣回答：“黄昏的时候，你们说：‘天色通红，明天一定是晴天。’早上的时候，你们说：‘天色又红又暗，今天一定有风雨。’你们知道分辨天色，却不能分辨时代的征兆吗？

天地照着你的安排存到今日，因为万有都是你的仆役。

“到那日，这是耶和华的宣告：我必使太阳在正午落下，在白昼使地变成昏暗。

愿那夜黎明的星星变成黑暗，愿那夜等候发光却不亮，见不到清晨的曙光。

“那些日子的灾难刚过去：太阳就变黑了，月亮也不发光，众星从天坠落，天上的万象震动。

我把彩虹放在云彩中，作我与大地立约的记号。

我要在天上显出奇事，在地上显出神迹，有血、有火、有烟雾；太阳将变为黑暗，月亮将变为血红，在主伟大显赫的日子临到以前，这一切都要发生。

诸天述说神的荣耀，穹苍传扬他的作为。天天发出言语，夜夜传出知识。没有话语，没有言词，人也听不到它们的声音。它们的声音（按照《马索拉文本》，“声音”作“准绳”；现参照《七十士译本》等古译本翻译）传遍全地，它们的言语传到地极，神在它们中间为太阳安设帐幕。太阳如同新郎出洞房，又像勇士欢欢喜喜地跑路。它从天的这边出来，绕行到天的那边；没有什么可以隐藏，得不到它的温暖。

它开了无底坑，就有烟从坑里冒出来，好像大火炉的烟，太阳和天空因这坑的烟就都变黑了。

第四位天使吹号，太阳的三分之一、月亮的三分之一、星辰的三分之一，就都受到击打，以致日月星的三分之一都变黑了，白天的三分之一没有光，夜晚也是这样。

耶和华这样说：‘我若没有设立白昼和黑夜的约，或立定天地的定律，

他的天军怎能数算？他的光一发谁不被照耀呢？

在神的眼中，月亮都不明亮，星星也不皎洁，
