Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

Some people plant to please their desires controlled by sin. From these desires they will harvest death. Others plant to please the Holy Spirit. From the Spirit they will harvest eternal life.

For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.

從欲者死、惟藉聖神以滅吾身情欲、則生、

行和平者、種和平也、必結善果、

勝我者、吾為之奴、偽師從惡、則亦為惡之奴、反以自由許弟子、

毋自欺也、上帝不可罔也、蓋所穫必觀所種、

勿圖情欲、以任所嗜、惟主耶穌基督是佩是服、

穫者得傭值、積實至永生、使播者穫者同樂也、

爾昔所耕者罪惡、今所穫者過失、爾素詐詭、自伐其能、恃其壯士、今取其戾、

以我觀之、所稼者惡、則所穡者亦若是。

淚而播者、必喜而穫兮、出而播種、雖有憂傷、及其歸也、同攜禾束、欣喜不勝兮。

不義者終不義、污衊者終污衊、義者終於義、聖者終於聖、

爾愛上帝是務、望吾主耶穌基督慈惠俾得永生、

爾勿以朝吉而播、夕凶而弗播、朝夕俱可、不知其後孰美也。

乃昔所行者、今日恥之、何益哉、終亦必亡而已、令爾遠罪為上帝僕、作聖獲益、終得永生

凡為我名、離屋宇、兄弟、姊妹、父母、妻子、田疇者、將受百倍、而得永生、

勿為可敗之糧而勞、當為永生之糧而勞、即人子與爾者、蓋父上帝以印命之也、

飲我所予之水、永不渴、我所予之水、必於其中為源、混混至永生也、

彼所播者風、所穫者颶風、其所植者、不秀不實、即其有秋、必為異邦人所食、

我之選民、驅牛叱驢、耕耘水畔、咸蒙福祉。

而今世不獲倍蓰、來世不得永生者、未之有也、○

所播者麥、所穫者荊。雖勞無益、見土產則蒙羞、我怒震烈、故使之然。○

播種惡者、所獲必虛、上帝震怒、使之覆亡。

而耶穌基督彰厥恆忍、先矜恤我、為後信望永生者、得我為模楷、

禽獸無知、為人獲而屠、偽師如之、訕謗其所不知、必受惡報而沉淪、

亦勿縱四體為不義之器以犯罪、必也如復生者、獻己與上帝、俾四體為義器、以事上帝、

使我依厥恩而稱義、得為嗣子、希望永生、
