今既知之、更為上帝所知、何反向劣弱空乏之小學、復欲為之役乎、

今識上帝更為上帝所識、奈何復向委靡卑狹之小學而從之乎、

今爾已識天主、抑且為天主所識矣、何又返於支離瑣碎之蒙學、抱殘守缺、而甘為之奴乎？

But now that you know God— or rather are known by God— how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable forces? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again?

But now you know God. Even better, God knows you. So why are you turning back to those weak and worthless powers? Do you want to be slaves to them all over again?

So now that you know God( or should I say, now that God knows you), why do you want to go back again and become slaves once more to the weak and useless spiritual principles of this world?

But now, since you know God, or rather have become known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless elements? Do you want to be enslaved to them all over again?

人愛天主、必為天主所識、

爾始以聖神、今欲終以儀文、爾竟如此無知乎、

律法因肉體無力、不能滅罪、惟天主為罪遣其子降生肉體、狀如罪人之身、而滅身之罪矣、

我知天主之子臨世、賜我智慧、使我識真者、我儕在真者內、即在天主之子耶穌基督內、此乃真天主、亦為永生、○

彼因識吾主救主耶穌基督、而得脫於世污、後復為世污所擾所服、則其後患較前尤甚、

我子所羅門歟、爾當知爾父之天主、誠心樂意以事之、蓋主鑒察人心、人心原文作諸心知悉一切意念、爾若求之、必惠臨爾、若遺之、必永棄爾、

前之法度、輕弱無益、故廢之、

經云、義人必以信得生、若退後、我心不悅之、然我儕不屬退後而淪亡者、乃屬信主而靈魂得救者也、

昔天主命光由暗而照、今照於我心、以光照人、使其知天主之榮、即在基督面所顯者也、

然天主所築之基、仍為鞏固、有印誌云、主識屬己者、又云、呼基督基督有原文抄本作主名者、當遠不義之事、

求我主耶穌基督之天主、榮耀之父、賜爾以智慧默示之神、使爾識主、

蓋主之榮光、充盈世界、如水充盈大海、世人無不認識、

我乃善牧、我識我羊、羊亦識我、

夫永生者無他、即知爾為獨一真天主、且知耶穌基督爾所遣者、

主曰、當時兄弟鄰里、毋需彼此復誨曰、當識主、蓋自長至幼、無不識我、我將赦其愆、不復記憶其罪、

蓋主喜悅善人之道、惡人之道、必至滅亡、

則爾必明敬畏主之理、必獲知天主之道、

我若守主之誡、則可自知我識主、人言己識主而不守其誡、則為言誑者、真理不在其衷、

主諭摩西曰、此爾所求、我已允之、因爾在我前蒙恩、我亦以名而識爾、

天主所預知者、則預定肖其子之狀、使彼為眾子中之長子、

萬物由父賜我、父之外無人識子、子及子所樂以父示者之外、無人識父、

主歟、惟認識主名者可倚賴主、因凡尋求主者、主不棄絕、

若爾與基督同死、脫斯世之賤質、何仍遵儀文、似猶活於世俗中、所謂儀文即勿近、勿嘗、勿捫之類、此皆按人所命所教而禁之物、用之之時、皆必敗壞、此儀文有智慧之名、使人行分外崇拜之事、故作謙卑、不惜身、不自重、毫無所益、惟徇所欲焉、

我羊聽我聲、我識之、而彼從我、

今我儕由鏡中而觀、所視者未明、至彼時則互相覿面、今我所知未全、至彼時則深知、如主知我然、

求主在天、在主之居所垂聽、循外邦人呼籲於主者而行、使地上萬民、皆知主之名而敬畏主、與主之民以色列人無異、又知我所建之殿、稱為主之殿、或作又知我建斯殿乃為主之名而建之

當醒悟以行義、勿犯罪、蓋有人不識天主、我言此以愧爾、○
