我看见他们不照福音的真理行，就当众对彼得说：“你身为犹太人，如果行事为人像外族人，不像犹太人，又怎能强迫外族人按犹太人的规矩生活呢？”

现在我因为告诉你们真理，就成了你们的仇人吗？

无知的加拉太人啊！谁又迷惑了你们呢？耶稣基督被钉在十字架上的事早就像一幅画一样展现在你们眼前了。我只想问，你们领受了圣灵是靠遵行律法呢，还是因为相信所听见的福音呢？

你们能有这样的信心和爱心是因为那给你们存在天上的盼望，就是你们从前从福音真道中听到的盼望。

我讲这番话是为了防止有人用花言巧语迷惑你们。现在，我人虽不在你们那里，心却和你们在一起，看到你们生活井然有序，对基督坚信不移，我很喜乐。你们既然接受了基督耶稣为主，就当继续遵从祂，按照你们所受的教导在祂里面扎根成长，信心坚固，满怀感恩。你们要谨慎，免得有人用空洞虚假的哲学把你们掳去。这些哲学不是出于基督，而是出于人的传统和世俗的玄学。

你们听过真理之道，就是那使你们得救的福音，而且也信了基督。你们既然信祂，就领受了上帝应许赐下的圣灵为印记。

保罗和巴拿巴为这件事与他们激烈地辩论，最后大家决定派保罗、巴拿巴和几个当地的信徒上耶路撒冷去跟使徒和长老讨论这件事。

我们不住地感谢上帝，因为你们从我们这里听了上帝的道后就接受了，确信这不是人的道理，而是上帝的道。这道正在你们信的人心里发挥作用。

亲爱的弟兄姊妹，我一直迫切地想写信跟你们谈谈我们所共享的救恩，但现在我觉得有必要写信劝勉你们竭力护卫一次就完整地交给圣徒的真道。
