我們哪可再違犯你的命令，跟這些行可憎惡之事的族民彼此結親呢？若這樣行，你豈不向我們發怒，直到我們滅盡，以致沒有一個餘剩之民或逃脫的人麼？

我们岂可再违背你的命令，与这行可憎之事的民结亲呢？若这样行，你岂不向我们发怒，将我们灭绝，以致没有一个剩下逃脱的人吗？

我们怎可以再违背你的诫命，与这些行可憎事的民族通婚呢？如果我们这样行，你岂不向我们发怒，消灭我们，以致没有一个剩余，或是逃脱的人吗？

我們豈可再違背你的命令，與這行可憎之事的民結親呢？若這樣行，你豈不向我們發怒，將我們滅絕，以致沒有一個剩下逃脫的人嗎？

我們怎可以再違背你的誡命，與這些行可憎事的民族通婚呢？如果我們這樣行，你豈不向我們發怒，消滅我們，以致沒有一個剩餘，或是逃脫的人嗎？

我儕何可復犯爾誡、與行事可憎之族聯姻乎、若然、爾豈不怒我、盡行翦滅、以致靡遺、無得免者、

今我若違上帝命、與斯土之民通嫁娶、行不善、必干爾震怒、翦滅我儕、靡有孑遺。

我儕豈可復違主命、與行此可憎事之諸族通嫁娶、苟如是行、必干主震怒、滅我淨盡、不遺一人得免、

Shall we then break your commands again and intermarry with the peoples who commit such detestable practices? Would you not be angry enough with us to destroy us, leaving us no remnant or survivor?

Suppose we don’t obey your commands again. And suppose we continue to marry people who commit sins that you hate. If we do, you will be so angry with us that you will destroy us. You won’t leave us even a few people. You won’t leave anyone alive.

shall we break your commandments again and intermarry with the peoples who practice these abominations? Would you not be angry with us until you consumed us, so that there should be no remnant, nor any to escape?

But even so, we are again breaking your commands and intermarrying with people who do these detestable things. Won’t your anger be enough to destroy us, so that even this little remnant no longer survives?

Should we again break thy commandments, and join in affinity with the people of these abominations? wouldest not thou be angry with us till thou hadst consumed[ us], so that[ there should be] no remnant nor escaping?

Shall we once again break your commandments and intermarry with these abominable peoples? Would you not be so angered by us that you would wipe us out, with no survivor or remnant?

在何烈山你們又惹了永恆主的震怒，以致他向你們發怒、要消滅你們。

因為他們為自己和他們的兒子娶了這些外族的女子為妻，以致聖別的種類和四圍各地別族之民混雜；而且首領和官長竟在這不忠實的事上也作了罪魁。』

你且由着我；我要消滅他們，將他們的名從天下塗抹掉；我要使你成為比他們強比他們繁盛的國。」

那些日子我也見了猶大人娶亞實突、亞捫、摩押的女子為妻。他們的兒女有一半說着亞實突語，不曉得說猶大語；所說的是照一族一族的方言。我就譴責他們，咒罵他們，擊打了他們幾個人，拔下他們的頭髮，叫他們指着上帝來起誓：我說：『你們決不可將自己的女兒嫁給他們的兒子，也決不可為兒子或自己娶他們的女兒。以色列王所羅門豈不是在這樣的事上犯了罪麼？在許多國之中並沒有一個王能比得上他呀；他並且是蒙他的上帝所愛的，上帝曾立了他做王來管理以色列呀；然而連他也被外籍女人所引誘而去犯罪。難道我們所該聽的是你們，來行這一切大壞事，娶外籍女人為妻，來對我們的上帝不忠實麼？』

『你們要從這會眾中自己分別出來，我好在眨眼之間吞滅他們。』

這樣、可怎麼說呢？我們可以恆居於罪中，使恩典增多麼？

『你要從這會眾中起來，我好在眨眼之間消滅他們。』二人就臉伏於地。

若不是萬軍之永恆主給我們留下一些殘存人，我們就早已像所多瑪，早已跟蛾摩拉一樣了。

你且由着我；讓我發烈怒，將他們滅盡；你呢、我要使你成為大國。』

這些事以後，耶穌遇見那人在殿裏，就對他說：『你看，你已經得了康健，別再犯罪了，免得患的更厲害。』

你們呢、也不可和這地的居民立約；他們的祭壇你們要拆毁。」你們竟沒有聽我的話；為甚麼你們這樣行呢？

『若不是我怕仇敵惹我發怒，我原想着說：「我必將他們割裂成塊，使他們的名號都滅絕於人間」；恐怕敵人判斷錯了，恐怕他們說：「是我們的手高舉起來作的，並不是永恆主行了這一切事啊。」

倘若他們既因認識我們的主、救主耶穌基督、而逃脫了世俗的染污，又在其中被纏住被制勝着，那麼他們末後的景況就比先前的更壞了。他們認識了正義之路以後，若從所傳授給他們的聖誡上退轉下去，那倒不如沒有認識過好啊。

『然而我要遺留一部分人民，因為當你們四散在列邦中時、你們必有人在列國中逃脫了刀劍；

不可跟他們和他們的神立約。

我的僕人雅各啊，你、不要懼怕！永恆主發神諭說：因為是我與你同在，因為我必將我所放逐你到的列國盡行毁滅；你呢、我卻不盡行毁滅；我要合乎常度地懲罰你，卻不能讓你免受刑罰。』

如今永恆主我們的上帝恩待我們片時，給我們留些逃脫的餘民，使我們牢固如釘子在他的聖所，好使我們的上帝光照我們的眼目，使我們在受奴轄之中稍得復興。
