爾女不得適其子、爾子不得娶其女、勿與之和好、勿助其獲利、則可強盛、享其土產、世為恆業。

故勿以爾女嫁其子、勿為爾子娶其女、永勿求其平康、勿助之得利、如是、則可強盛、享其地之佳產、且遺其地於爾子孫、以為永業、

Therefore, do not give your daughters in marriage to their sons or take their daughters for your sons. Do not seek a treaty of friendship with them at any time, that you may be strong and eat the good things of the land and leave it to your children as an everlasting inheritance.’

So don’t let your daughters marry their sons. And don’t let their daughters marry your sons. Don’t make a peace treaty with them at any time. Then you will be strong. You will eat the good things the land produces. And you will leave all of it to your children as their share. They and their children after them will enjoy it forever.’

Therefore do not give your daughters to their sons, neither take their daughters for your sons, and never seek their peace or prosperity, that you may be strong and eat the good of the land and leave it for an inheritance to your children forever.’

Don’t let your daughters marry their sons! Don’t take their daughters as wives for your sons. Don’t ever promote the peace and prosperity of those nations. If you follow these instructions, you will be strong and will enjoy the good things the land produces, and you will leave this prosperity to your children forever.’

So do not give your daughters to their sons in marriage or take their daughters for your sons. Never pursue their welfare or prosperity, so that you will be strong, eat the good things of the land, and leave it as an inheritance to your sons forever.”

So now do not give your daughters to their sons nor take their daughters for your sons, and never seek their peace or their prosperity, so that you may be strong and may eat the good things of the land, and leave it as an inheritance to your sons forever.’

勿相嫁娶、爾女勿嫁其子、爾子勿娶其女、

善人遺業於子孫、罪人積財歸義者、

緣此、爾畢生勿求其平安、祈其利達、○

爾若轉而合於爾中遺民、與之嫁娶往來、則當確知爾上帝耶和華、必不復逐斯民於爾目前、彼必於爾為網羅、為機檻、脇下之鞭、目中之刺、迨爾滅亡、於爾上帝耶和華所賜之美地、

勿與居民立約、恐彼狥欲、從其神而獻祭、招爾共食祭品、而爾取其女妻爾子、其女狥欲從其神、使爾子亦狥欲從之、

毋與其人其神立約、

蓋彼必為強大之族、天下萬民、因之獲福、我簡之、使命其子及眷屬、守我之道、秉公行義、致耶和華所言、悉以予之、

義者行正、子孫蒙福、

強乃心、壯乃志、以爾必導斯民、得我誓賜其祖之地、惟當強乃心、壯乃志、悉守我僕摩西命爾之律、而遵行之、勿偏於左、勿偏於右、俾爾無論何往、靡不亨通、惟此律書、勿離爾口、晝夜思維、守其所錄、致獲坦途、而得利達、我豈不命爾乎、強乃心、壯乃志、勿畏葸、勿恐惶、無論何往、爾上帝耶和華與爾偕焉、○

此誡命典章律例、乃爾上帝耶和華所命、以教爾者、使爾行之於爾所得為業之地、俾爾及子孫、畢生寅畏爾上帝耶和華、守其典章誡命、凡我所命爾者、以致延年、

先見哈拿尼子耶戶出迓曰、爾助惡人、愛憾耶和華者、宜乎、因此、耶和華之怒及爾、

爾其頌美耶和華、寅畏耶和華、深悅其誡命者、其有福兮、其裔必強盛於地上、正人之後代、必蒙福兮、

娶其女為妻為媳、致使聖民與諸族相雜、牧伯民長為其首惡、

如爾願之而順從、則可食地之美產、
