嗣後民長就我曰、斯土之民、迦南人、赫人、比哩洗人、耶布士人、亞捫人、摩押人、埃及人、亞摩哩人、俱作不善、以色列族眾、祭司、及利未人、與居與處、則清濁不判。

这事做完了，众首领来见我，说：“以色列民和祭司并利未人，没有离绝迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、耶布斯人、亚扪人、摩押人、埃及人、亚摩利人，仍效法这些国的民，行可憎的事。

这些事完成以后，众领袖来接近我，说：“以色列百姓、祭司和利未人没有弃绝迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、耶布斯人、亚扪人、摩押人、埃及人和亚摩利人等列邦民族所行可憎的事。

斯事既畢、諸牧伯就我曰、以色列眾、及祭司利未人、未與斯土之民絕交、效迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、耶布斯人、亞捫人、摩押人、埃及人、亞摩利人、行其可憎之事、

斯後、諸牧伯就我曰、以色列民、祭司、及利未人、不絕離斯土之異族、行迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、耶布斯人、亞捫人、摩押人、伊及人、亞摩利人所行可憎之事、

After these things had been done, the leaders came to me and said,“ The people of Israel, including the priests and the Levites, have not kept themselves separate from the neighboring peoples with their detestable practices, like those of the Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Jebusites, Ammonites, Moabites, Egyptians and Amorites.

After all these things had been done, the leaders came to me. They said,“ The people of Israel have committed sins. Even the priests and Levites have sinned. They haven’t kept themselves separate from the nations around them. The Lord hates the practices of those nations. He hates what the Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites and Jebusites do. He also hates what the Ammonites, Moabites, Egyptians and Amorites do.

After these things had been done, the officials approached me and said,“ The people of Israel and the priests and the Levites have not separated themselves from the peoples of the lands with their abominations, from the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

When these things had been done, the Jewish leaders came to me and said,“ Many of the people of Israel, and even some of the priests and Levites, have not kept themselves separate from the other peoples living in the land. They have taken up the detestable practices of the Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Jebusites, Ammonites, Moabites, Egyptians, and Amorites.

After these things had been done, the leaders approached me and said,“ The people of Israel, the priests, and the Levites have not separated themselves from the surrounding peoples whose detestable practices are like those of the Canaanites, Hethites, Perizzites, Jebusites, Ammonites, Moabites, Egyptians, and Amorites.

Now when these things had been completed, the officials approached me, saying,“ The people of Israel and the priests and the Levites have not separated themselves from the peoples of the lands, as to their abominations, those of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

When these things were done, the leaders came to me, saying,“ The people of Israel and the priests and the Levites have not separated themselves from the peoples of the lands, with respect to the abominations of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

Now when these things were done, the princes drew near unto me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the peoples of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

After these things had been done, the leaders approached me and said:“ The people of Israel, the priests, and the Levites have not separated themselves from the surrounding peoples whose detestable practices are like those of the Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Jebusites, Ammonites, Moabites, Egyptians, and Amorites.

Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands,[ doing] according to their abominations,[ even] of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

Now when these things had been completed, the leaders approached me and said,“ The people of Israel, the priests, and the Levites have not separated themselves from the local residents who practice detestable things similar to those of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

Now when these things were done, the princes came near to me, saying,“ The people of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the peoples of the lands, following their abominations, even those of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

與異邦人絕交、卓然自立、自任己過、及列祖愆尤。

異邦人行此、自取污衊、故我逐之、爾勿則效、彼已有玷、我治其罪、使地不載、故爾曹不論宗族賓旅、當守我法度禮儀、毋蹈此愆。昔斯土之人、專務行此、使地染污、如爾效之、地必不容爾、與彼相同。凡蹈此愆、絕之民中、爾當守我法度、彼之所行、事多可憎、玷及其身、爾毋則傚、我耶和華爾之上帝所命如此。

我與爾民沾恩、於何知之、以爾與我儕偕往、使我儕超越於天下兆民、是以知之。

則當謹恪、勿陷於坎阱、勿求其上帝、意謂斯民服事其上帝、我亦必如是以行。蓋彼爇子女、以事其上帝、凡耶和華所惡之事、無不作為、爾之事爾上帝耶和華勿是則是效。

亞捫人多比侍立、曰、彼所築之石墻、即狐登之亦圮。

凡以色列族、被虜而歸之眾、及異邦人、凡去污衊、欲崇以色列族之上帝耶和華者、俱食逾越節羔、蓋耶和華感亞述王心、使助建以色列族上帝之殿、故歡然守無酵節、凡歷七日。

即基尼、基尼洗、甲摩尼。赫、比哩洗、哩乏音、亞摩哩、迦南、革迦撒、耶布西、諸族之地。

爾曹選民、去巴比倫、勿居其中、勿捫污衊、凡攜耶和華之聖器者、當自潔其身、

陟山之巖、我為顧視、高崗之巔、我為瞻望、斯族獨居、不雜於眾。

亞捫人、摩押人、雖歷十世、至於永遠、亦不得入耶和華會。因昔爾出埃及、彼不以餅以水、迎饋其師、亦因以金賂庇耳子巴蘭、俾自米所波大米之比奪至、以咒詛爾故也。惟爾上帝耶和華愛爾、故不聽巴蘭、乃變詛為祝。

凡不聽諸伯長老命、三日不至者、籍沒所有、驅於會外。

斯時人誦摩西書、俾民僉聞、書云、摩押、亞捫二族、世不得入上帝會。因昔不以水以餅迎饋以色列族、乃賂巴蘭、俾來呪詛、惟我上帝變詛為祝。民聞書言、則非同族者擯而去之。

以色列族居失亭、淫於摩押女、摩押女祭其上帝、請以色列族至、遂食祭品、共相崇拜、以色列族奉事巴力比耳、耶和華怒甚、

祭司以士喇普告於眾、曰、爾曹娶於異邦、以色列族之罪愆、因此愈增、故當於列祖之上帝耶和華前、自陳過失、遵從其命、絕斯土之民、去異邦之女、

猶大諸方伯聞之、則自王宮、詣耶和華殿、坐於殿之新門、

撒八拉、多比、及亞喇伯人、亞捫人、亞實突人、聞耶路撒冷民建邑垣、修損缺、則怒甚、

爾曹至爾上帝耶和華所錫之地、彼民所為可惡之事、爾勿則效。

昔爾居埃及、其土之風俗、爾勿從、今我導汝至迦南、其人之作為、爾勿效、亦勿守其禮儀。

勿與不信者耦、蓋義與不義、何侶之有、光與暗、何交之有、基督與彼列、何契之有、信與不信、何類之有、上帝之殿、木偶之像、何同之有、夫爾固永生上帝之殿也、上帝曰吾將居其內、遊其間、吾為彼上帝、彼為我民、主曰、爾出不潔者中、自為樹立、不近於彼、吾則納爾、全能之主曰、吾必為爾父、爾為我子女也、

昔耶和華誓以產乳與蜜之地、賜爾祖、其地即迦南人、赫人、亞摩哩人、希未人、耶布士人所屬者、既導爾入斯土、當於是月守此禮。

我使必導爾入亞摩哩、赫、比哩洗、迦南、希未、耶布士諸族之地、翦滅其眾。

所羅門王、除法老女之外、內寵甚多、皆異族之女、即屬於摩押、亞捫、以東、西頓、赫人者、

越至四世、爾之苗裔、將歸斯土、蓋亞摩哩人罪未貫盈。

諸方伯庶民、告祭司先知、曰、此人藉我上帝耶和華之名而言、不可殺也。

即西頓人之上帝亞大綠、亞捫人可惡之物密君、不效父大闢、恆從耶和華、乃行惡於耶和華前、在耶路撒冷相對之山、築崇邱、奉摩押人可惡之物基抹、亞捫人可惡之物摩洛、

爾稱為猶太人、以律法是依、以識上帝為榮、既習於法、則知其旨、可辨異同、自信為瞽者之相、暗者之光、愚者之師、蒙者之傅、其於律法、有真知之儀範、且爾欲正人、而不正己乎、爾言勿竊、而自竊乎、爾言勿淫、而自淫乎、爾惡偶像、而自干聖乎、爾誇律法、而自犯法、辱上帝乎、上帝名、緣爾謗讟於異邦中、如經所云矣、爾遵法、則割禮有益、爾犯法、雖已割若未割然、

乃偕異邦人、爰居爰處、染其污俗兮、

昔異邦人行可惡之事、耶和華使以色列族逐之、馬拿西行惡於耶和華前、而效其尤。
