所以你們要儆醒，記得我三年之久、晝夜不停地流淚勸戒你們每一個人。

就如一個人出外、離開了家，把權柄給他的奴僕，把他的工作給各人，又囑咐看門的要儆醒。所以你們要儆醒；因為你們不知道家主甚麼時候來：或傍晚或半夜、或雞叫或早晨；

他們的族弟兄利未人、管理上帝之殿的府庫、和聖物的府庫。拉但的子孫裏、革順族人的拉但子孫裏、做拉但父系族長的革順族人、是耶希伊利。耶希伊利的兒子西坦和他的兄弟約珥、管理永恆主之殿的府庫。暗蘭族人、以斯哈族人、希伯倫族人、烏泄族人、也各有職守。摩西的孫子革舜的兒子書巴業做府庫總長。還有他的兄弟以利以謝；以利以謝的兒子利哈比雅，利哈比雅的兒子耶篩亞，耶篩亞的兒子約蘭，約蘭的兒子細基利，細基利的兒子示羅密；這示羅密和他的弟兄管理分別為聖之物的一切府庫、就是大衛王和眾父系族長、千夫長、百夫長、軍長所分別為聖之物。

但是你呢、你凡事都要冷靜戒備着，要能喫苦，作傳福音人的工、來盡你的職分。
