遣之至加西巴、見民長易多、告之、又告其同宗、殿中奔走者、當令人至此、可於上帝殿、供其職司。

命之往迦西斐雅、見其處族長易多、又傳之所當告易多、及其兄弟、並居迦西斐雅地殿役之言、即勸其遣人來、在我天主之殿供役事、

and I ordered them to go to Iddo, the leader in Kasiphia. I told them what to say to Iddo and his fellow Levites, the temple servants in Kasiphia, so that they might bring attendants to us for the house of our God.

I ordered all those men to go to Iddo. He was the leader in Kasiphia. He and his Levite relatives were temple servants there. I told my men what to say to them. I wanted Iddo and his Levite relatives to bring some attendants to us for the house of our God.

and sent them to Iddo, the leading man at the place Casiphia, telling them what to say to Iddo and his brothers and the temple servants at the place Casiphia, namely, to send us ministers for the house of our God.

I sent them to Iddo, the leader of the Levites at Casiphia, to ask him and his relatives and the Temple servants to send us ministers for the Temple of God at Jerusalem.

And I sent them forth unto Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia; and I told them what they should say unto Iddo, and his brethren the Nethinim, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring unto us ministers for the house of our God.

尼提宁：西哈的子孙、哈苏巴的子孙、答巴俄的子孙、

利未人从三十岁以外的都被数点，他们男丁的数目共有三万八千；其中有二万四千人管理耶和华殿的事，有六千人作官长和士师，有四千人作守门的，又有四千人用大卫所做的乐器颂赞耶和华。大卫将利未人革顺、哥辖、米拉利的子孙分了班次。

尼提宁和所罗门仆人的后裔共三百九十二名。

王说：“你这些话莫非是约押的主意吗？”妇人说：“我敢在我主我王面前起誓：王的话正对，不偏左右，是王的仆人约押吩咐我的，这些话是他教导我的。

进去见王，对王如此如此说。”于是约押将当说的话教导了妇人。

我已将你们的弟兄利未人从以色列人中拣选出来归耶和华，是给你们为赏赐的，为要办理会幕的事。

耶和华如此说：“你若归回，我就将你再带来，使你站在我面前；你若将宝贵的和下贱的分别出来，你就可以当作我的口。他们必归向你，你却不可归向他们。

我从前留你在克里特，是要你将那没有办完的事都办整齐了，又照我所吩咐你的，在各城设立长老。

然后利未人进去，在亚伦和他儿子面前，在会幕中办事。耶和华指着利未人怎样吩咐摩西，以色列人就怎样向他们行了。耶和华晓谕摩西说：“利未人是这样：从二十五岁以外，他们要前来任职，办会幕的事。到了五十岁要停工退任，不再办事，只要在会幕里，和他们的弟兄一同伺候，谨守所吩咐的，不再办事了。至于所吩咐利未人的，你要这样向他们行。”

利未人不必再抬帐幕和其中所用的一切器皿了。”照着大卫临终所吩咐的，利未人从二十岁以外的都被数点。他们的职任是服侍亚伦的子孙，在耶和华的殿和院子，并屋中办事，洁净一切圣物，就是办神殿的事务，并管理陈设饼，素祭的细面，或无酵薄饼，或用盘烤，或用油调和的物，又管理各样的升斗尺度；每日早晚，站立称谢赞美耶和华，又在安息日、月朔，并节期，按数照例，将燔祭常常献给耶和华；又看守会幕和圣所，并守耶和华吩咐他们弟兄亚伦子孙的，办耶和华殿的事。

我必在他们弟兄中间给他们兴起一位先知，像你。我要将当说的话传给他；他要将我一切所吩咐的都传给他们。

于是耶和华伸手按我的口，对我说：“我已将当说的话传给你。

你要将当说的话传给他；我也要赐你和他口才，又要指教你们所当行的事。

亚达薛西王第七年，以色列人、祭司、利未人、歌唱的、守门的、尼提宁，有上耶路撒冷的。
