永恆主我們列祖的上帝是當受祝頌的，因為他將這樣的意思放在王的心意中，使他去修飾那在耶路撒冷的永恆主之殿；

我列祖之上帝耶和華、宜頌美焉、彼置此意於王心、修飾耶和華室、在耶路撒冷、

以斯拉曰、當頌美主我列祖之天主、因感格王心、增榮耀於耶路撒冷之主殿、

Praise be to the Lord, the God of our ancestors, who has put it into the king’s heart to bring honor to the house of the Lord in Jerusalem in this way

So here is what I, Ezra, say to you people of Israel.“ Give praise to the Lord. He is the God of our people who lived long ago. He has put it in the king’s heart to bring honor to the Lord’ s temple in Jerusalem. The king has honored the Lord in his letter.

Blessed be the Lord, the God of our fathers, who put such a thing as this into the heart of the king, to beautify the house of the Lord that is in Jerusalem,

Praise the Lord, the God of our ancestors, who made the king want to beautify the Temple of the Lord in Jerusalem!

Blessed be the LORD, the God of our ancestors, who has put it into the king’s mind to glorify the house of the LORD in Jerusalem,

Blessed be the Lord, the God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to glorify the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem,

Blessed be the Lord God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem,

Blessed be Jehovah, the God of our fathers, who hath put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of Jehovah which is in Jerusalem;

Praise Yahweh the God of our fathers, who has put it into the king’s mind to glorify the house of the Lord in Jerusalem,

Blessed[ be] the LORD God of our fathers, which hath put[ such a thing] as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which[ is] in Jerusalem:

Blessed be the LORD God of our fathers, who so moved in the heart of the king to so honor the temple of the LORD which is in Jerusalem!

Blessed be Yahweh, the God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify Yahweh’s house which is in Jerusalem;

欢欢喜喜地守除酵节七日；因为耶和华使他们欢喜，又使亚述王的心转向他们，坚固他们的手，作以色列神殿的工程。

又赐诏书，通知管理王园林的亚萨，使他给我木料，做属殿营楼之门的横梁和城墙，与我自己房屋使用的。”王就允准我，因我神施恩的手帮助我。

各样美善的恩赐和各样全备的赏赐都是从上头来的，从众光之父那里降下来的；在他并没有改变，也没有转动的影儿。

多谢神，感动提多的心，叫他待你们殷勤，像我一样。

王的心在耶和华手中，好像陇沟的水随意流转。

我靠主大大地喜乐，因为你们思念我的心如今又发生；你们向来就思念我，只是没得机会。

主又说：“那些日子以后，我与以色列家所立的约乃是这样：我要将我的律法放在他们里面，写在他们心上；我要作他们的神；他们要作我的子民。

因为神使诸王同心合意，遵行他的旨意，把自己的国给那兽，直等到神的话都应验了。

“主说：那些日子以后，我与他们所立的约乃是这样：我要将我的律法写在他们心上，又要放在他们的里面”；

所以，大卫在会众面前称颂耶和华说：“耶和华我们的父，以色列的神是应当称颂，直到永永远远的！耶和华啊，尊大、能力、荣耀、强胜、威严都是你的；凡天上地下的都是你的；国度也是你的，并且你为至高，为万有之首。丰富尊荣都从你而来，你也治理万物。在你手里有大能大力，使人尊大强盛都出于你。我们的神啊，现在我们称谢你，赞美你荣耀之名！“我算什么，我的民算什么，竟能如此乐意奉献？因为万物都从你而来，我们把从你而得的献给你。我们在你面前是客旅，是寄居的，与我们列祖一样。我们在世的日子如影儿，不能长存。耶和华我们的神啊，我们预备这许多材料，要为你的圣名建造殿宇，都是从你而来，都是属你的。我的神啊，我知道你察验人心，喜悦正直；我以正直的心乐意献上这一切物。现在我喜欢见你的民在这里都乐意奉献与你。耶和华我们列祖亚伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的神啊，求你使你的民常存这样的心思意念，坚定他们的心归向你，又求你赐我儿子所罗门诚实的心，遵守你的命令、法度、律例，成就这一切的事，用我所预备的建造殿宇。”大卫对全会众说：“你们应当称颂耶和华你们的神。”于是会众称颂耶和华他们列祖的神，低头拜耶和华与王。次日，他们向耶和华献平安祭和燔祭，就是献公牛一千只，公绵羊一千只，羊羔一千只，并同献的奠祭；又为以色列众人献许多的祭。那日，他们在耶和华面前吃喝，大大欢乐。他们奉耶和华的命再膏大卫的儿子所罗门作王，又膏撒督作祭司。于是所罗门坐在耶和华所赐的位上，接续他父亲大卫作王，万事亨通；以色列众人也都听从他。众首领和勇士，并大卫王的众子，都顺服所罗门王。耶和华使所罗门在以色列众人眼前甚为尊大，极其威严，胜过在他以前的以色列王。耶西的儿子大卫作以色列众人的王，作王共四十年：在希伯仑作王七年，在耶路撒冷作王三十三年。他年纪老迈，日子满足，享受丰富、尊荣，就死了。他儿子所罗门接续他作王。大卫王始终的事都写在先见撒母耳的书上和先知拿单并先见迦得的书上。他的国事和他的勇力，以及他和以色列并列国所经过的事都写在这书上。

我夜间起来，有几个人也一同起来；但神使我心里要为耶路撒冷做什么事，我并没有告诉人。除了我骑的牲口以外，也没有别的牲口在我那里。

黎巴嫩的荣耀，就是松树、杉树、黄杨树，都必一同归你，为要修饰我圣所之地；我也要使我脚踏之处得荣耀。

我的神感动我心，招聚贵胄、官长，和百姓，要照家谱计算。我找着第一次上来之人的家谱，其上写着：
