For the dedication of this house of God they offered a hundred bulls, two hundred rams, four hundred male lambs and, as a sin offering for all Israel, twelve male goats, one for each of the tribes of Israel.

When the house of God was set apart to him, the people sacrificed 100 bulls. They also sacrificed 200 rams and 400 male lambs. As a sin offering for the whole nation of Israel, the people sacrificed 12 male goats. One goat was sacrificed for each tribe in Israel.

And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done[ somewhat against] any of the commandments of the LORD[ concerning things] which should not be done, and are guilty;When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.

Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.

That the princes of Israel, heads of the house of their fathers, who[ were] the princes of the tribes, and were over them that were numbered, offered:And they brought their offering before the LORD, six covered wagons, and twelve oxen; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Ahira the son of Enan.This[ was] the dedication of the altar, in the day when it was anointed, by the princes of Israel: twelve chargers of silver, twelve silver bowls, twelve spoons of gold:Each charger of silver[ weighing] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], each bowl seventy: all the silver vessels[ weighed] two thousand and four hundred[ shekels], after the shekel of the sanctuary:The golden spoons[ were] twelve, full of incense,[ weighing] ten[ shekels] apiece, after the shekel of the sanctuary: all the gold of the spoons[ was] an hundred and twenty[ shekels].All the oxen for the burnt offering[ were] twelve bullocks, the rams twelve, the lambs of the first year twelve, with their meat offering: and the kids of the goats for sin offering twelve.And all the oxen for the sacrifice of the peace offerings[ were] twenty and four bullocks, the rams sixty, the he goats sixty, the lambs of the first year sixty. This[ was] the dedication of the altar, after that it was anointed.And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that[ was] upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him.

So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon[ of wine].

And king Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep: so the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.

Then Hezekiah answered and said, Now ye have consecrated yourselves unto the LORD, come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of the LORD. And the congregation brought in sacrifices and thank offerings; and as many as were of a free heart burnt offerings.And the number of the burnt offerings, which the congregation brought, was threescore and ten bullocks, an hundred rams,[ and] two hundred lambs: all these[ were] for a burnt offering to the LORD.And the consecrated things[ were] six hundred oxen and three thousand sheep.But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the[ other] priests had sanctified themselves: for the Levites[ were] more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.And also the burnt offerings[ were] in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings, and the drink offerings for[ every] burnt offering. So the service of the house of the LORD was set in order.

If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering.

And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered unto the LORD, two and twenty thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the LORD.The same day did the king hallow the middle of the court that[ was] before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings: because the brasen altar that[ was] before the LORD[ was] too little to receive the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings.

And they brought seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven he goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, and for the sanctuary, and for Judah. And he commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer[ them] on the altar of the LORD.So they killed the bullocks, and the priests received the blood, and sprinkled[ it] on the altar: likewise, when they had killed the rams, they sprinkled the blood upon the altar: they killed also the lambs, and they sprinkled the blood upon the altar.And they brought forth the he goats[ for] the sin offering before the king and the congregation; and they laid their hands upon them:

And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the LORD came, saying, Israel shall be thy name:

When a ruler hath sinned, and done[ somewhat] through ignorance[ against] any of the commandments of the LORD his God[ concerning things] which should not be done, and is guilty;Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish:

That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

And had a wall great and high,[ and] had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are[ the names] of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
