或君或民、欲廢斯命、毀此耶路撒冷上帝之室、即彼寄名之所、願上帝傾覆之、我大利烏降此詔旨、速行勿緩、○

昔上帝簡是殿、為籲厥名之所、或君或民、欲廢斯命、毀耶路撒冷之殿、願上帝加以翦滅、我降是詔、速行勿緩。

昔天主使其名在耶路撒冷之殿、若有王或民、欲易斯詔、毀斯殿、願天主殲滅之、我大利烏降斯諭、當速行勿緩、○

May God, who has caused his Name to dwell there, overthrow any king or people who lifts a hand to change this decree or to destroy this temple in Jerusalem. I Darius have decreed it. Let it be carried out with diligence.

God has chosen to put his Name in the temple at Jerusalem. May he wipe out any king or nation that lifts a hand to change this order. May he also wipe out anyone who tries to destroy the temple in Jerusalem. That’s what I have ordered. I am King Darius. Make sure you carry out my order.

May the God who has caused his name to dwell there overthrow any king or people who shall put out a hand to alter this, or to destroy this house of God that is in Jerusalem. I Darius make a decree; let it be done with all diligence.”

May the God who has chosen the city of Jerusalem as the place to honor his name destroy any king or nation that violates this command and destroys this Temple.“ I, Darius, have issued this decree. Let it be obeyed with all diligence.”

May the God who caused his name to dwell there overthrow any king or people who dares to harm or interfere with this house of God in Jerusalem. I, Darius, have issued the decree. Let it be carried out diligently.

May the God who has caused His name to dwell there overthrow any king or people who attempts to change it, so as to destroy that house of God in Jerusalem. I, Darius, have issued this decree; it is to be carried out with all diligence!”

And may the God who causes His name to dwell there destroy any king or people who put their hand to alter it, or to destroy this house of God which is in Jerusalem. I Darius issue a decree; let it be done diligently.

May God who makes his name to reside there overthrow any king or nation who reaches out to cause such change so as to destroy this temple of God in Jerusalem. I, Darius, have given orders. Let them be carried out with precision!”

耶和華對他說：「我已聽了你在我面前的禱告和祈求，將你所建的這殿分別為聖，使我的名永遠立在那裏；我的眼、我的心也必時常在那裏。

但耶和華－你們的神在你們各支派中選擇何處作為立他名的居所，你們就要到那裏求問，

那時你們要將我所吩咐你們的燔祭、祭物、十一奉獻、手中的舉祭，和向耶和華許願的一切上好的祭，都帶到耶和華－你們神所選擇立他名的居所。

你要為我築一座土壇，在上面獻牛羊為燔祭和平安祭。凡在我叫你記念我名的地方，我必到那裏賜福給你。

將要被滅的巴比倫哪，用你待我們的惡行報復你的，那人有福了。抓起你的嬰孩摔在磐石上的，那人有福了。

你當在那裏，耶和華選擇作為他名居所的地方，從羊羣牛羣中，將逾越節的祭牲獻給耶和華－你的神。

不事奉你的那邦、那國要滅亡，那些國家必全然荒廢。

凡你手所當做的事，要盡力去做；因為在你所必須去的陰間沒有工作，沒有謀算，沒有知識，也沒有智慧。

神啊，求你定他們的罪！願他們因自己的計謀跌倒；求你因他們過犯眾多趕逐他們，因為他們背叛了你。

這諭旨的抄本以敕令的方式在各省頒佈，通知各族，預備等候那日。信差奉王的命令急忙起行，敕令傳遍了書珊城堡。王同哈曼坐下飲酒，書珊城堡卻陷入慌亂中。

因為耶和華揀選了錫安，願意當作自己的居所：「這是我永遠安歇之所；我要住在這地方，因為我願意在這裏。

現在我已選擇這殿，分別為聖，使我的名永在其中；我的眼、我的心也必時常在那裏。

因你向兄弟雅各施暴，你必蒙羞，永被剪除。

「看哪，我要使耶路撒冷成為令四圍列國百姓昏醉的杯；耶路撒冷被圍困，猶大也一樣受困。在那日，我要使耶路撒冷成為萬民的一塊沉重石頭，凡舉起它的必受重傷；地上的萬國都聚集攻擊它。到那日，我必令一切的馬匹驚惶，使騎馬的癲狂。我必張開眼睛看顧猶大家，卻使列國一切的馬匹瞎眼。這是耶和華說的。

於是騎御用快馬的信差奉王命催促，急忙起行；敕令傳遍了書珊城堡。

你的手要搜出所有的仇敵，你的右手要搜出那些恨你的人。你的臉出現的時候，要使他們如在炎熱的火爐中。耶和華要在他的震怒中吞滅他們，那火要把他們燒盡。你必從世上滅絕他們的幼苗，從人間滅絕他們的後裔。

於是，河西的達乃總督和示他‧波斯乃，以及他們的同僚，急速遵行大流士王所頒的命令。

眾天軍都騎着白馬，穿着又白又潔淨的細麻衣跟隨他。有利劍從他口中出來，用來擊打列國。他要用鐵杖管轄他們，並且要踹全能神烈怒的醡酒池。在他衣服和大腿上寫着「萬王之王，萬主之主」的名號。我又看見一位天使站在太陽中，向天空一切的飛鳥大聲喊着說：「你們聚集來赴神的大宴席，為要吃君王的肉、將軍的肉、壯士的肉、馬和騎士的肉、一切自主的和為奴的，以及尊貴的和卑賤的肉。」我又看見那獸和地上的君王，和他們的軍隊都聚集，要與白馬騎士和他的軍隊作戰。那獸被擒拿了；那在獸面前曾行奇事、迷惑了接受獸的印記和拜獸像的人的假先知，也與獸同被擒拿。他們兩個就活生生地被扔進燒着硫磺的火湖裏，其餘的人被白馬騎士口中吐出來的劍殺了；所有的飛鳥都吃飽了他們的肉。

現在，我勸你們不要管這些人，任憑他們吧！他們所謀所為若是出於人，必要敗壞；若是出於神，你們就不能敗壞他們，恐怕你們倒是攻擊神了。」議會的人被他說服了，

他說：「主啊！你是誰？」主說：「我就是你所迫害的耶穌。
