Then the Lord thundered,“ Bring on the men appointed to punish the city! Tell them to bring their weapons with them!”

他在我耳边大声喊叫，说：“上前来啊，惩罚这城的人，手中要各拿毁灭的兵器。”

我听见祂高声呼喊说：“惩罚这城的人啊，拿起你们的兵器上前来吧！”

我听见他大声呼叫说：“惩罚这城的啊！你们要近前来，各人手里拿着灭命的武器。”

他向我耳中大聲喊叫說：「要使那監管這城的人手中各拿滅命的兵器前來。」

他在我耳邊大聲喊叫，說：「上前來啊，懲罰這城的人，手中要各拿毀滅的兵器。」

他在我耳邊大聲喊叫，說：「上前來啊，懲罰這城的人，手中要各拿毀滅的兵器。」

我聽見祂高聲呼喊說：「懲罰這城的人啊，拿起你們的兵器上前來吧！」

我聽見他大聲呼叫說：“懲罰這城的啊！你們要近前來，各人手裡拿著滅命的武器。”

他向我耳中大聲喊叫說：『這城的行政官哪，你們要走近前來，各人手裏拿着他那毁滅人的器械。』

彼大聲呼於我耳曰、其使理斯邑者、手執殘殺之器而來、

我聞主大聲呼曰、操斯邑刑賞之權者、當執殺人之器而來。

我耳中聞主大聲呼曰、當使操權以罰此邑者、各執殺人之器械前來、

Then I heard him call out in a loud voice,“ Bring near those who are appointed to execute judgment on the city, each with a weapon in his hand.”

Then I heard the Lord call out in a loud voice. He said,“ Bring here those who are appointed to bring my judgment on the city. Make sure each of them has a weapon in his hand.”

Then he cried in my ears with a loud voice, saying,“ Bring near the executioners of the city, each with his destroying weapon in his hand.”

Then he called loudly in my hearing,“ Come near, executioners of the city, each of you with a destructive weapon in his hand.”

Then He cried out in my presence with a loud voice, saying,“ Come forward, you executioners of the city, each with his weapon of destruction in his hand.”

Then He called out in my hearing with a loud voice, saying,“ Let those who have charge over the city draw near, each with a deadly weapon in his hand.”

Then he cried in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause ye them that have charge over the city to draw near, every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.

Then He called to me directly with a loud voice,“ Come near, executioners of the city, each of you with a destructive weapon in his hand.”

He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man[ with] his destroying weapon in his hand.

Then he shouted in my ears,“ Approach, you who are to visit destruction on the city, each with his destructive weapon in his hand!”

Then he cried in my ears with a loud voice, saying,“ Cause those who are in charge of the city to draw near, each man with his destroying weapon in his hand.”

Then I heard the Lord asking,“ Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said,“ Here I am. Send me.”

For the Lord will pass through the land to strike down the Egyptians. But when he sees the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe, the Lord will pass over your home. He will not permit his death angel to enter your house and strike you down.

“ Fear God,” he shouted.“ Give glory to him. For the time has come when he will sit as judge. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and all the springs of water.”

Indeed, the Sovereign Lord never does anything until he reveals his plans to his servants the prophets.The lion has roared— so who isn’t frightened? The Sovereign Lord has spoken— so who can refuse to proclaim his message?

I am sending Assyria against a godless nation, against a people with whom I am angry. Assyria will plunder them, trampling them like dirt beneath its feet.But the king of Assyria will not understand that he is my tool; his mind does not work that way. His plan is simply to destroy, to cut down nation after nation.

It was the Lord’s Day, and I was worshiping in the Spirit. Suddenly, I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet blast.It said,“ Write in a book everything you see, and send it to the seven churches in the cities of Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.”

So they were all inside the temple to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings. Now Jehu had stationed eighty of his men outside the building and had warned them,“ If you let anyone escape, you will pay for it with your own life.”

And I heard someone speaking to me from within the Temple, while the man who had been measuring stood beside me.The Lord said to me,“ Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place where I will rest my feet. I will live here forever among the people of Israel. They and their kings will not defile my holy name any longer by their adulterous worship of other gods or by honoring the relics of their kings who have died.

And God sent an angel to destroy Jerusalem. But just as the angel was preparing to destroy it, the Lord relented and said to the death angel,“ Stop! That is enough!” At that moment the angel of the Lord was standing by the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.
