『他們直吹號角，準備一切，卻沒有人去赴戰，因為我的烈怒已臨到所有的蜂擁羣眾。

彼已吹角、妥備諸事、而無人臨陳、蓋我震怒及於斯眾也、

我既怒斯眾、雖吹角使戰、無人臨陣、

彼雖吹角、預備已全、已全或作以戰而無人出戰、因我怒及其眾、

“‘ They have blown the trumpet, they have made all things ready, but no one will go into battle, for my wrath is on the whole crowd.

They have blown trumpets. They have made everything ready. But no one will go into battle. I will soon pour out my great anger on the whole crowd.

“ They have blown the trumpet and made everything ready, but none goes to battle, for my wrath is upon all their multitude.

“ The trumpet calls Israel’s army to mobilize, but no one listens, for my fury is against them all.

They have blown the trumpet and prepared everything, but no one goes to war, for my wrath is on her whole crowd.

你們要在猶大傳揚，在耶路撒冷宣告，說：「當在國中吹角，高聲呼叫說：『你們當聚集！我們好進入堅固城！』

殘暴興起，成了罰惡的杖。他們將一無所有，他們的富足、他們的財寶都不復存在；他們中間也不再有尊榮。時候到了，日子近了，買主不可歡喜，賣主也不用愁煩，因為烈怒已經臨到他們眾人身上。

所以主耶和華如此說：「看哪，我必將我的怒氣和憤怒傾倒在這地方的人和牲畜身上、田野的樹木和地裏的出產上，它必燃燒，不會熄滅。」

因此我被耶和華的憤怒充滿，難以忍受。「你要把它倒在街上孩童和成羣的年輕人身上，他們連夫帶妻，年長者與高齡的人都必被擒拿。

你們要在境內豎立大旗，在列邦中吹角，使列邦預備攻擊巴比倫。要招集亞拉臘、米尼、亞實基拿各國前來攻擊它，派將軍攻擊它，使馬匹上來如粗暴的蝗蟲；

便雅憫人哪，當逃離耶路撒冷，在提哥亞吹號角，在伯‧哈基琳升信號，因為有災禍與大毀滅從北方逼近。

看哪，耶和華使地空虛，變為荒蕪，地面扭曲，居民四散。那時，百姓如何，祭司也如何；僕人如何，主人也如何；婢女如何，主母也如何；買主如何，賣主也如何；放債的如何，借貸的也如何；債主如何，欠債的也如何。地必全然空虛，盡都荒蕪，因為這話是耶和華說的。大地悲哀凋零，世界敗落衰殘，地上居高位的人也沒落了。地被其上的居民所污穢，因為他們犯了律法，廢了律例，背了永約。所以，詛咒吞滅大地，住在其上的都有罪；地上的居民被火焚燒，剩下的人稀少。新酒悲哀，葡萄樹凋殘，心中歡樂的都嘆息。

滅命的來到曠野中一切光禿的高地；耶和華的刀從地這邊直到地那邊，盡行殺滅，凡血肉之軀都不得平安。
