Wherefore,[ as] I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish[ thee]; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.

主耶和华说：“因为你们用一切可憎的偶像和恶行玷污我的圣所，我凭我的永恒起誓，我必毫不留情地铲除你们。

“我指着我的永生起誓（这是主耶和华的宣告），你既然用你一切可憎的偶像和一切可厌的事来玷污我的圣所，我必收回对你的恩宠，我的眼必不顾惜你，我也不怜恤你。

主耶和華說：「我指着我的永生起誓，因你用一切可憎的物、可厭的事玷污了我的聖所，故此，我定要使你人數減少，我眼必不顧惜你，也不可憐你。

“我指著我的永生起誓（這是主耶和華的宣告），你既然用你一切可憎的偶像和一切可厭的事來玷污我的聖所，我必收回對你的恩寵，我的眼必不顧惜你，我也不憐恤你。

故此主永恆主發神諭說：我指着永活的我來起誓，你既用你一切可憎之像和你一切可厭惡的事來污瀆我的聖所，我就一定要將你剪除；我眼必不顧惜你，我必不可憐你。

主耶和華曰、我指己生而誓、因爾以可憎之事、可惡之物、玷我聖所、我必轉目、不復顧惜、不加矜憫、

主耶和華又曰、我指己而誓、因爾以可惡之物玷我聖所、故我必使人民減少、不加矜憫。

主天主曰、我指己永生而誓、因爾以諸可憎之事、及諸可惡之物、玷污我之聖所、故我必使爾衰微、我必使爾衰微或作我不復加護於爾我目不顧惜、我不加矜憫、

Therefore as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your vile images and detestable practices, I myself will shave you; I will not look on you with pity or spare you.

You have made my temple‘ unclean.’ You have set up statues of all your evil gods. You have done other things I hate. So I will cut you off just like Ezekiel cut off his hair. I will not spare you or feel sorry for you. And that is just as sure as I am alive,” announces the Lord and King.

Therefore, as I live, declares the Lord God, surely, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable things and with all your abominations, therefore I will withdraw. My eye will not spare, and I will have no pity.

“ As surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, I will cut you off completely. I will show you no pity at all because you have defiled my Temple with your vile images and detestable sins.

“ Therefore, as I live”— this is the declaration of the Lord GOD—“ I will withdraw and show you no pity, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your abhorrent acts and detestable practices. Yes, I will not spare you.

Therefore as I live,’ declares the Lord God,‘ Because you have defiled My sanctuary with all your detestable idols and with all your abominations, I definitely will also withdraw and My eye will have no pity, and I also will not spare.

‘ Therefore, as I live,’ says the Lord GOD,‘ surely, because you have defiled My sanctuary with all your detestable things and with all your abominations, therefore I will also diminish you; My eye will not spare, nor will I have any pity.

“ Therefore, as I live”— this is the declaration of the Lord God—“ I am going to cut you off and show you no pity, because you have defiled My sanctuary with all your detestable practices and abominations. Yes, I will not spare you.

“ Therefore, as surely as I live, says the sovereign LORD, because you defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable idols and with all your abominable practices, I will withdraw; my eye will not pity you, nor will I spare you.

Therefore as I live,’ says the Lord Yahweh,‘ surely, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable things, and with all your abominations, therefore I will also diminish you. My eye won’t spare, and I will have no pity.

As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations[ and] of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them.

Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of the LORD which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.

Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do?[ even] the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again,[ and] thou shalt see greater abominations.

And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.

And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations[ that] are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I[ am] the LORD that smiteth.

And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I[ am] the LORD.

And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity,[ but] I will recompense their way upon their head.

And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:

And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD’S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar,[ were] about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

But[ as for them] whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.

Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice,[ yet] will I not hear them.

And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things.

Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not;And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen[ it], saith the LORD.

Say unto them,[ As truly as] I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, which have murmured against me,Doubtless ye shall not come into the land,[ concerning] which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised.But[ as for] you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness.And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness.After the number of the days in which ye searched the land,[ even] forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities,[ even] forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.I the LORD have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.

Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Now if the fall of them[ be] the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?

For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast[ them] down to hell, and delivered[ them] into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth[ person], a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour’s hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver[ them].

In that ye have brought[ into my sanctuary] strangers, uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to pollute it,[ even] my house, when ye offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken my covenant because of all your abominations.

For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand[ of them] whom thou hatest, into the hand[ of them] from whom thy mind is alienated:

And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.

The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.

The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold[ that is] on them, nor take[ it] unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it[ is] an abomination to the LORD thy God.Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it:[ but] thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it[ is] a cursed thing.

For if God spared not the natural branches,[ take heed] lest he also spare not thee.

The young and the old lie on the ground in the streets: my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword; thou hast slain[ them] in the day of thine anger; thou hast killed,[ and] not pitied.

It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.

I the LORD have spoken[ it]: it shall come to pass, and I will do[ it]; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord GOD.

And the altars that[ were] on the top of the upper chamber of Ahaz, which the kings of Judah had made, and the altars which Manasseh had made in the two courts of the house of the LORD, did the king beat down, and brake[ them] down from thence, and cast the dust of them into the brook Kidron.

And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.

And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.

Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending[ them], saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate.

But they set their abominations in the house, which is called by my name, to defile it.

For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,

Also he built altars in the house of the LORD, whereof the LORD had said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever.
