He is to bow down in worship at the threshold of the gateway and then go out, but the gate will not be shut until evening.

獻完了祭，王和所有在場跟隨他的人都俯伏敬拜。

祭司要取一些贖罪祭牲的血，抹在殿的門柱上和祭壇臺座的四角上，並內院的門框上。

王站在自己的位上，在耶和華面前立約，要盡心盡性跟從耶和華，遵守他的誡命、法度、律例，實行這書上所記這約的話；

「我實實在在地告訴你們，那不從門進羊圈，倒從別處爬進去的，就是賊，就是強盜。那從門進去的才是羊的牧人。看門的給他開門，羊也聽他的聲音。他按着名叫自己的羊，把羊領出來。

他就稍往前走，俯伏在地，禱告說：「我父啊，如果可能，求你使這杯離開我。然而，不是照我所願的，而是照你所願的。」

所羅門當着以色列全會眾，站在耶和華的壇前，向天舉手，說：「耶和華－以色列的神啊，天上地下沒有神明可與你相比！你向那些盡心行在你面前的僕人守約施慈愛，

於是大衛王進去，坐在耶和華面前，說：「耶和華神啊，我是誰，我的家算甚麼，你竟帶領我到這地步呢？

基督在他肉身的日子，曾大聲哀哭，流淚禱告，懇求那能救他免死的神，就因他的虔誠蒙了應允。他雖然為兒子，還是因所受的苦難學了順從。

我們傳揚他，是用諸般的智慧，勸戒各人，教導各人，要把各人在基督裏完完全全地獻上。

王奉獻甘心祭，就是向耶和華甘心獻的燔祭或平安祭時，當有人為他開朝東的門。他就獻上燔祭和平安祭，與安息日所獻的一樣，然後退出。他出去之後，當有人將門關閉。」

她觀看，看哪，王站在殿門的柱旁，百夫長和號手在王旁邊，國中的眾百姓都歡樂吹號，又有歌唱的人用樂器領人歌唱讚美。亞她利雅就撕裂衣服，喊着說：「反了！反了！」

所羅門曾造一個銅臺，長五肘，寬五肘，高三肘，放在院中。他站在臺上，當着以色列全會眾雙膝跪下，向天舉手，
