The prince must not take any of the inheritance of the people, driving them off their property. He is to give his sons their inheritance out of his own property, so that not one of my people will be separated from their property.’”

Her leaders within her are like wolves tearing the prey, by shedding blood and destroying lives in order to make dishonest profit.

And you shall speak to him, saying,‘ This is what the Lord says:“ Have you murdered and also taken possession?” ’ And you shall speak to him, saying,‘ The Lord says this:“ In the place where the dogs licked up the blood of Naboth, the dogs will lick up your blood, yours as well.” ’ ”

And I said,“ Hear now, you leaders of Jacob And rulers of the house of Israel: Is it not for you to know justice?You who hate good and love evil, Who tear off their skin from them And their flesh from their bones,Who eat the flesh of my people, Strip off their skin from them, Smash their bones, And chop them up as for the pot, And as meat in a cauldron!”

And He will delight in the fear of the Lord, And He will not judge by what His eyes see, Nor make decisions by what His ears hear;But with righteousness He will judge the poor, And decide with fairness for the humble of the earth; And He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He will slay the wicked.

Therefore it says,“ When He ascended on high, He led captive the captives, And He gave gifts to people.”

Behold, a king will reign righteously, And officials will rule justly.Each will be like a refuge from the wind And a shelter from the storm, Like streams of water in a dry country, Like the shade of a huge rock in an exhausted land.

So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, And guided them with his skillful hands.

The word of the Lord which came to Micah of Moresheth in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and which he saw regarding Samaria and Jerusalem.Hear, you peoples, all of you; Listen carefully, earth and all it contains, And may the Lord God be a witness against you, The Lord from His holy temple.

“ Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord,“ When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; And He will reign as king and act wisely And do justice and righteousness in the land.In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will live securely; And this is His name by which He will be called,‘ The Lord Our Righteousness.’

You have ascended on high, You have led captive Your captives; You have received gifts among people, Even among the rebellious as well, that the Lord God may dwell there.

Woe to those who devise wrongdoing, Who practice evil on their beds! When morning comes, they do it, Because it is in the power of their hands.They covet fields, so they seize them; And houses, so they take them. They exploit a man and his house, A person and his inheritance.

You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the fat sheep without feeding the flock.Those who are sickly you have not strengthened, the diseased you have not healed, the broken you have not bound up, the scattered you have not brought back, nor have you searched for the lost; but with force and with violence you have dominated them.They scattered for lack of a shepherd, and they became food for every animal of the field and scattered.My flock strayed through all the mountains and on every high hill; My flock was scattered over all the surface of the earth, and there was no one to search or seek for them.” ’ ”

Since you push away with your side and shoulder, and gore all the weak with your horns until you have scattered them abroad,

May he judge Your people with righteousness And Your afflicted with justice.May the mountains bring peace to the people, And the hills, in righteousness.May he vindicate the afflicted of the people, Save the children of the needy, And crush the oppressor.

and I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.
