如果君王把一部分產業賜給他的僕人，他的僕人在得到自由之前可以擁有這產業，到他自由的那年，這份產業仍要歸還給君王，因為君王的產業只能由他的後代繼承。

倘若王将一份产业赐给他的臣仆，就成了他臣仆的产业；到自由之年仍要归与王。至于王的产业，必归与他的儿子。

如君以地賜臣僕、則歸臣僕、至於禧年仍歸君、君之地業、必歸其子、

If, however, he makes a gift from his inheritance to one of his servants, the servant may keep it until the year of freedom; then it will revert to the prince. His inheritance belongs to his sons only; it is theirs.

But suppose he makes a gift from his share of land to one of his servants. Then the servant may keep it until the Year of Jubilee. After that, it will be returned to the prince. His property may be handed down only to his sons. It belongs to them.

But if he makes a gift out of his inheritance to one of his servants, it shall be his to the year of liberty. Then it shall revert to the prince; surely it is his inheritance— it shall belong to his sons.

But if the prince gives a gift of land from his inheritance to one of his servants, the servant may keep it only until the Year of Jubilee, which comes every fiftieth year. At that time the land will return to the prince. But when the prince gives gifts to his sons, those gifts will be permanent.

你們要以這年為聖年，向境內所有居民宣告自由。這年將成為你們的禧年。各人要得回賣掉的祖業，賣身為奴的可以自由回家。

但聖經上怎麼說呢？聖經上說：「趕走婢女和她的兒子，因為婢女的兒子不能與主母的兒子一同承受產業。」弟兄姊妹，這樣看來，我們不是婢女的兒女，而是主母的兒女。

「他們說，『主啊，那個人已經有一萬銀幣了。』「主人答道，『我告訴你們，凡有的，還要給他更多；凡沒有的，連他僅有的也要奪走。

「天國就像一個人即將遠行，他召來自己的奴僕，把產業託付給他們，按各人的才幹分別交給一個人五千銀幣，一個人兩千銀幣，一個人一千銀幣，然後便離開了。得到五千銀幣的立刻去做買賣，結果賺了五千；得到兩千銀幣的也賺了兩千；可是得到一千銀幣的卻挖了一個洞，把主人的錢藏在地裡。過了很久，這些奴僕的主人回來了，要跟他們結帳。得到五千銀幣的奴僕帶來了另外的五千，說，『主人，你交給我五千銀幣，請看，我又賺了五千。』「主人說，『做得好！你真是個又良善又忠心的奴僕。既然你在小事上忠心，我要把更大的事交給你。進來分享你主人的快樂吧！』「得到兩千銀幣的奴僕也上前說，『主人，你交給我兩千銀幣，請看，我又賺了兩千。』「主人說，『做得好！你真是個又良善又忠心的奴僕，既然你在小事上忠心，我要把更大的事交給你。進來分享你主人的快樂吧！』「得到一千銀幣的奴僕也上前說，『主人，我知道你為人苛刻，沒有播種的地方也要收割，沒有撒種的地方也要收穫。我很害怕，就去把你的錢藏在地裡。請看，這是你的錢。』「主人說，『你這又可惡又懶惰的奴僕！既然你知道我沒有播種的地方也要收割，沒有撒種的地方也要收穫，就應該把錢存入錢莊，等我回來時，可以連本帶利還給我。』「主人接著說，『收回他的一千銀幣，賞給那個有一萬銀幣的奴僕。因為凡有的，還要給他更多，使他豐富有餘；凡沒有的，連他僅有的，也要奪去。
