The Lord and King says,“ Suppose the prince makes a gift from his share of land. And he gives it to one of his sons. Then the property will also belong to his sons after him. It will be handed down to them.

主耶和華曰、如君錫物於子、則為子有、以為恆業、

主耶和華曰、如君王錫土於子、則其土歸子統轄、為其恆業、

主天主如是云、如君以地賜子、則可歸子、蓋地原屬君之地業、其子終嗣之為恆產、

“ This is what the Lord GOD says: If the prince gives a gift to each of his sons as their inheritance, it will belong to his sons. It will become their property by inheritance.

‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ If the prince gives a gift from his inheritance to any of his sons, it shall belong to his sons; it is their possession by inheritance.

‘ Thus says the Lord GOD:“ If the prince gives a gift of some of his inheritance to any of his sons, it shall belong to his sons; it is their possession by inheritance.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: If the prince give a gift unto any of his sons, it is his inheritance, it shall belong to his sons; it is their possession by inheritance.

“ This is what the Lord God says: If the prince gives a gift to each of his sons as their inheritance, it will belong to his sons. It will become their property by inheritance.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; If the prince give a gift unto any of his sons, the inheritance thereof shall be his sons’; it[ shall be] their possession by inheritance.

“‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says: If the prince should give a gift to one of his sons as his inheritance, it will belong to his sons, it is their property by inheritance.

“‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ If the prince gives a gift to any of his sons, it is his inheritance. It shall belong to his sons. It is their possession by inheritance.

Their father had given them many gifts. He had given them silver, gold and other things of value. He had also given them cities in Judah that had high walls around them. But he had made Jehoram king. That’s because Jehoram was his oldest son.

But few things are needed. Really, only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better. And it will not be taken away from her.”

The Spirit you received doesn’t make you slaves. Otherwise you would live in fear again. Instead, the Holy Spirit you received made you God’s adopted child. By the Spirit’s power we call God Abba. Abba means Father.The Spirit himself joins with our spirits. Together they tell us that we are God’s children.As his children, we will receive all that he has for us. We will share what Christ receives. But we must share in his sufferings if we want to share in his glory.

God planned that those he had chosen would become like his Son. In that way, Christ will be the first and most honored among many brothers and sisters.And those God has planned for, he has also appointed to be saved. Those he has appointed, he has made right with himself. To those he has made right with himself, he has given his glory.What should we say then? Since God is on our side, who can be against us?God did not spare his own Son. He gave him up for us all. Then won’t he also freely give us everything else?

Abraham left everything he owned to Isaac.But while he was still living, he gave gifts to the sons of his concubines. Then he sent them away from his son Isaac. He sent them to the land of the east.

“ Then the King will speak to those on his right. He will say,‘ My Father has blessed you. Come and take what is yours. It is the kingdom prepared for you since the world was created.

Those who are without blame spend their days in the Lord’ s care. What he has given them will last forever.

So you aren’t a slave any longer. You are God’s child. Because you are his child, God gives you the rights of those who are his children.

A slave has no lasting place in the family. But a son belongs to the family forever.So if the Son of Man sets you free, you will really be free.
