Once the priests enter the holy precincts, they are not to go into the outer court until they leave behind the garments in which they minister, for these are holy. They are to put on other clothes before they go near the places that are for the people.”

The priests who enter these holy rooms must leave behind the clothes they served in. Then they can go into the outer courtyard. The clothes they served in are holy. So the priests must put other clothes on. They have to do that before they go near the places where other people go.”

He put the tunic on Aaron, tied the sash around him, clothed him with the robe and put the ephod on him. He also fastened the ephod with a decorative waistband, which he tied around him. (niv)

Then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the tent of meeting and wash them with water.Take the garments and dress Aaron with the tunic, the robe of the ephod, the ephod itself and the breastpiece. Fasten the ephod on him by its skillfully woven waistband.Put the turban on his head and attach the sacred emblem to the turban.Take the anointing oil and anoint him by pouring it on his head.Bring his sons and dress them in tunicsand fasten caps on them. Then tie sashes on Aaron and his sons. The priesthood is theirs by a lasting ordinance.“ Then you shall ordain Aaron and his sons. (niv)

The angel said to those who were standing before him,“ Take off his filthy clothes.” Then he said to Joshua,“ See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put fine garments on you.”Then I said,“ Put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him, while the angel of the Lord stood by. (niv)

Then he brought Aaron’s sons forward, put tunics on them, tied sashes around them and fastened caps on them, as the Lord commanded Moses. (niv)

I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. (niv)

In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,“ God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” (niv)

Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh. (niv)

This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, (niv)

for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. (niv)

Jesus replied,“ No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” (niv)

Do not leave the entrance to the tent of meeting for seven days, until the days of your ordination are completed, for your ordination will last seven days.What has been done today was commanded by the Lord to make atonement for you.You must stay at the entrance to the tent of meeting day and night for seven days and do what the Lord requires, so you will not die; for that is what I have been commanded.” (niv)

Make tunics, sashes and caps for Aaron’s sons to give them dignity and honor.After you put these clothes on your brother Aaron and his sons, anoint and ordain them. Consecrate them so they may serve me as priests.“ Make linen undergarments as a covering for the body, reaching from the waist to the thigh.Aaron and his sons must wear them whenever they enter the tent of meeting or approach the altar to minister in the Holy Place, so that they will not incur guilt and die.“ This is to be a lasting ordinance for Aaron and his descendants. (niv)
