他為多比雅預備了一間大房間，那裡以前是用來收存素祭、乳香和器皿，還有祭司的舉祭，以及按照命令供給利未人、歌唱者和守門的那些五穀、新酒和新油的十分之一。

巴錄就在耶和華的殿裡，向眾民宣讀書上耶利米的話。那時他是在沙番的兒子書記基瑪利雅的房間裡，這房間是在上院，靠近耶和華殿裡新門的入口。

又吩咐人潔淨那幾間房間，然後把神殿的器皿，與素祭和乳香搬回那裡。

“你去見利甲族的人，和他們交談，領他們進入耶和華殿裡的一個房間，給他們酒喝。”於是我把哈巴洗尼雅的孫子、雅利米雅的兒子雅撒尼亞，以及他的兄弟、他的眾子和利甲全族的人，都領進耶和華的殿裡，進了神人伊基大利的兒子哈難眾子的房間；這房間是在眾領袖的房間旁邊，在沙龍的兒子守衛殿門的瑪西雅的房間上面。

大衛把殿的走廊、房屋、庫房、閣樓、內殿和安放施恩座的聖所的圖樣，都交給他的兒子所羅門；又把他心中所想的圖樣，就是耶和華殿的院子、四周所有的房屋、神殿裡的庫房和聖物庫房的圖樣，都指示了他；
