希西家吩咐人在耶和华的殿里预备仓房，他们就预备了。

他为多比雅预备了一间大房间，那里以前是用来收存素祭、乳香和器皿，还有祭司的举祭，以及按照命令供给利未人、歌唱者和守门的那些五谷、新酒和新油的十分之一。

里面的守卫室，这边有三间，那边有三间；墙柱和门廊的尺寸都与东门的一样；北门全长二十五公尺，宽十二公尺半。它的窗子、门廊和雕刻的棕树，都与东门的一样；人要登七级台阶才到这门，前面尽头是门廊。

巴录就在耶和华的殿里，向众民宣读书上耶利米的话。那时他是在沙番的儿子书记基玛利雅的房间里，这房间是在上院，靠近耶和华殿里新门的入口。

又吩咐人洁净那几间房间，然后把神殿的器皿，与素祭和乳香搬回那里。

“你去见利甲族的人，和他们交谈，领他们进入耶和华殿里的一个房间，给他们酒喝。”于是我把哈巴洗尼雅的孙子、雅利米雅的儿子雅撒尼亚，以及他的兄弟、他的众子和利甲全族的人，都领进耶和华的殿里，进了神人伊基大利的儿子哈难众子的房间；这房间是在众领袖的房间旁边，在沙龙的儿子守卫殿门的玛西雅的房间上面。

大卫把殿的走廊、房屋、库房、阁楼、内殿和安放施恩座的圣所的图样，都交给他的儿子所罗门；又把他心中所想的图样，就是耶和华殿的院子、四周所有的房屋、神殿里的库房和圣物库房的图样，都指示了他；
