Then take an iron pan, place it as an iron wall between you and the city and turn your face toward it. It will be under siege, and you shall besiege it. This will be a sign to the people of Israel.

Then get an iron pan. Put it between you and the city. Pretend it is an iron wall. Turn your face toward the city. It will be under attack when you begin to attack it. That will show the people of Israel what is going to happen to Jerusalem.

And you, take an iron griddle, and place it as an iron wall between you and the city; and set your face toward it, and let it be in a state of siege, and press the siege against it. This is a sign for the house of Israel.

到了天黑壓壓的時候，你要當他們眼前將物件搭在肩頭上帶出去；要把臉蒙住，使你看不見地；因為我立了你做以色列家的兆頭。』

永恆主說：『我的僕人以賽亞怎樣裸體赤腳而走三年，作為責罰埃及和古實的豫兆和兆頭，

看哪，我和永恆主所賜給我的孩子在以色列中都作為豫兆和兆頭，都是由住在錫安山的萬軍之永恆主所豫定的。

你要說：「我做你們的兆頭：我怎樣行，他們的遭遇也必怎樣；他們必流亡去為俘虜。

以西結對你們必這樣成了一個兆頭：他怎樣行，你們也要怎樣行：那事來到，你們就知道我乃是主永恆主。」『人子啊，我從他們中間取去——他們所倚靠的保障、他們華美的喜悅物，他們眼裏所喜愛的、心中所仰賴而寄託的、以及他們的兒女、——的日子，就在那日、當逃脫的人來到你這裏，使你耳聞這事的時候，正在那日、你就會向逃脫的人開口說話，不再啞巴。你要這樣給他們做個兆頭；他們就知道我乃是永恆主。』

西面就給他們祝福，對孩子的母親馬利亞說：『看吧，這孩子被設立、必使以色列中許多人跌倒、許多人復起，也必做辯論的對象，將許多人心裏的意念揭露出來；

又是上帝、用神迹奇事和各種異能、以及隨他主意而分給人的聖靈之恩賜、所一同證實的。

你的供物若是在煎盤上作的素祭，那就該是用油調和的無酵細麵。

猶大王西底家九年十月、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒率領了他的全軍來到耶路撒冷，圍攻它。
