毋庸拾薪於田、伐木於林、惟燒器械、昔則見攘於人、今則攘人、昔則見擄於人、今則擄人、我耶和華已言之矣。

彼無庸取薪於田、伐木於林、惟燒器械、昔敵攘之、今反攘敵、昔敵刧之、今反刧敵、此乃主天主所言、

They will not need to gather wood from the fields or cut it from the forests, because they will use the weapons for fuel. And they will plunder those who plundered them and loot those who looted them, declares the Sovereign Lord.

你們這些毀滅別人、自己還未被毀滅的人有禍了！等你們毀滅完了，就毀滅你們。你們這些欺詐別人、自己還未被欺詐的人有禍了！等你們欺詐完了，就欺詐你們。

各國必幫助他們重返故鄉。在耶和華賜給他們的土地上，外族人必做他們的僕婢。他們必擄掠以前擄掠他們的人，統治以前壓制他們的人。

在各國各民中，雅各餘剩的子孫猶如林間百獸中的獅子，又像闖入羊群的猛獅，將獵物撲倒撕碎，無人能搭救。

你們從前擄掠許多國家，殺人流血，摧毀他們的土地、城市和人民，所以各國的餘民必掠奪你們。

因為你們怎樣論斷別人，也必照樣被論斷；你們用什麼尺度衡量別人，也要用什麼尺度衡量你們。

她怎樣待人，你們也要怎樣待她，要按她所做的加倍地報應她，用她調酒的杯加倍地調給她喝。

耶和華使埃及人恩待以色列人，他們要什麼，埃及人就給什麼。這樣，以色列人奪取了埃及人的財富。

你們的婦女只管向埃及鄰居及住在鄰居家的婦女索取金器、銀器和衣服，給自己的兒女穿戴，你們必這樣奪取埃及人的財物。」

耶和華啊，你是向江河發怒嗎？你乘著得勝的戰車而來，是向江河生氣嗎？是向海洋發怒嗎？

該被擄的人必被擄，該被刀殺的必被刀殺。因此，聖徒需要堅忍和信心。
