說：「我要上去攻擊那無城牆的鄉村地；我要去攻擊那安然居住的安靜人；他們都住在沒有城牆的地方；門閂門扇都沒有」；

You will say,“ I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people— all of them living without walls and without gates and bars.

You will say,‘ I will march out against a land whose villages don’t have walls around them. I’ll attack those peaceful people. I’ll do this when they aren’t expecting it. None of their villages has walls or gates with metal bars on them.

and say,‘ I will go up against the land of unwalled villages. I will fall upon the quiet people who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having no bars or gates,’

You will say,‘ Israel is an unprotected land filled with unwalled villages! I will march against her and destroy these people who live in such confidence!

You will say,“ I will advance against a land of open villages; I will come against a tranquil people who are living securely, all of them living without walls and without bars or gates”—

and you will say,‘ I will go up against the land of unwalled villages. I will go against those who are at rest, who live securely, all of them living without walls and having no bars or gates,

You will say,‘ I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’—

and thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates;

You will say,‘ I will go up to the land of unwalled villages. I will go to those who are at rest, who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

他埋伏於藏匿處，如獅子於叢藪中；他埋伏要擄拿困苦人；一拉困苦人入網，就把他擄去。

但人將米迦所製造的聖物和他那祭司都帶着走；他們到了拉億，來到一族泰然自若安心無慮的人民那裏，就用刀擊殺了他們，又放火燒了那城。

仇敵說：「我要追趕，我要趕上；我要分擄物；我要拿住他們，來滿足心願。我要拔出刀來，親手趕滅他們。」

他們若說：『跟我們同來吧！我們來埋伏，流人的血，來無緣無故地潛伏、害無辜的人；我們來像陰間、把他們活活吞下去，健全無病地吞下，使他們如下陰坑的人；我們就得着各樣寶貴的財物，將所擄掠的裝滿了我們的房屋；來跟我們同甘苦吧！我們共用一個錢袋』——弟子啊，不要跟他們同行一道；要禁止你的腳走他們的路；因為他們的腳奔跑行壞事；他們倉惶急迫地流人的血。

永恆主發神諭說，起來，上安安逸逸的國去！上居安無慮之民那裏去！他們是無門無閂、獨自住居的。他們的駱駝必成為掠物，他們鬧轟轟的牲畜必被劫掠；我必使鬢邊頭髮剃成圓形的人四散到四方；我必使其災難從四面臨到他們：永恆主發神諭說的。

五人就走，來到拉億，看見其中的人民安居無慮，如同西頓人那樣，泰然自若、安心無慮；那地又沒有人抑制他們甚麼事；他們離西頓人也遠，和別人沒有來往。

你假手於你的臣僕來辱罵永恆主；你並且說：「我用我眾多的車輛；我上了山嶺的高峰，我到利巴嫩的極深處；我砍伐它高大的香柏樹，上好的松樹；我進到極遠的高處，園地般的森林。是我挖了井，喝了水；我用腳掌踏乾埃及的眾河流。」』

他們的腳飛快、要流人的血；

過了許多年日、你必被點閱以服兵役；在末後之年、你必來攻那被收復脫離刀劍之地、那從許多外族之民招集來到之地；你必來攻以色列眾山、長期荒廢的山；但其人民、從許多外族之民中帶出來的、都在那裏安然居住呢。

你的鄰舍在你附近安居，你不可設計害他。人若未曾加害於你，你不可無緣無故同他相爭。
