權杖必不離猶大，統治者的杖必不離他兩腳之間，直等細羅來到，萬民都要歸順他。

我要使他們彼此同心同道，好叫他們永遠敬畏我，使他們和他們後世的子孫得享福樂。

這樣，你們不再是外人或客旅，是與聖徒同國，是神家裏的人了，被建造在使徒和先知的根基上，而基督耶穌自己為房角石，靠着他整座房子連接得緊湊，漸漸成為在主裏的聖殿。你們也靠他同被建造，成為神藉着聖靈居住的所在。

因有一嬰孩為我們而生；有一子賜給我們。政權必擔在他的肩頭上；他名稱為「奇妙策士、全能的神、永在的父、和平的君」。他的政權與平安必加增無窮。他必在大衛的寶座上治理他的國，以公平公義使國堅定穩固，從今直到永遠。萬軍之耶和華的熱心必成就這事。

第七位天使吹號，天上就有大聲音說：「世上的國已成了我們的主和他所立的基督的國了。他要作王直到永永遠遠！」

他要向列國豎立大旗，召集以色列被趕散的人，又從地極四方聚集分散的猶大人。以法蓮的嫉妒必消散，苦待猶大的也被剪除；以法蓮必不嫉妒猶大，猶大也不苦待以法蓮。

否則我不會棄絕雅各的後裔和我僕人大衛的後裔，使大衛的後裔不再治理亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的後裔。我必使他們被擄的人歸回，也必憐憫他們。」

他將要為大，稱為至高者的兒子；主神要把他祖先大衛的王位給他。他要作雅各家的王，直到永遠；他的國沒有窮盡。」

他要執掌權柄，從這海直到那海，從大河直到地極。

神啊，求你將你的公平賜給王，將你的公義賜給王的兒子。

因為以色列人必多日過着無君王，無領袖，無祭祀，無柱像，無以弗得，無家中神像的生活。後來以色列人必歸回，尋求耶和華－他們的神和他們的王大衛。在末後的日子，他們必敬畏耶和華，領受他的恩惠。

「看哪，日子將到，我要為大衛興起公義的苗裔；他必掌王權，行事有智慧，在地上施行公平和公義。這是耶和華說的。在他的日子，猶大必得救，以色列也安然居住。他的名必稱為『耶和華－我們的義』。

「我已經在錫安－我的聖山膏立了我的君王。」
