耶和華對我說：「人子啊，你要說預言，向風說預言。你要說，耶和華如此說：氣息啊，要從四方而來，吹在這些被殺的人身上，使他們活過來。」

我必將我的靈放在你們裏面，使你們順從我的律例，謹守遵行我的典章。

那時，在你們四圍其餘的列國必知道，我－耶和華修造那毀壞之處，開墾那荒蕪之地。我－耶和華說了這話，就必成就。

這正是藉着先知約珥所說的：『神說：在末後的日子，我要將我的靈澆灌凡血肉之軀的。你們的兒女要說預言；你們的少年要見異象；你們的老人要做異夢。

經上也是這樣記着說：「首先的人亞當成了有生命的人」；末後的亞當成了賜生命的靈。

然而，使耶穌從死人中復活的神的靈若住在你們裏面，那使基督從死人中復活的，也必藉着住在你們裏面的聖靈使你們必死的身體又活過來。

因為賜生命的聖靈的律，在基督耶穌裏從罪和死的律中把你釋放出來。

田野的樹木因此就知道是我－耶和華使高樹矮小，使矮樹高大，使綠樹枯乾，使枯樹發旺。我－耶和華說了這話，就必成就。」

「我要將那施恩與懇求的靈，澆灌大衛家和耶路撒冷的居民。他們必仰望我，就是他們所扎的那位。他們必為他悲傷，如喪獨子，又為他哀哭，如喪長子。

到了我對付你的日子，你的心豈能忍受呢？你的手還能有力嗎？我－耶和華說了這話，就必成就。

等到聖靈從高處澆灌我們，曠野將變為田園，田園看似森林。
