I am concerned for you and will look on you with favor; you will be plowed and sown,

I am concerned about you. I will do good things for you. Farmers will plow your ground. They will plant seeds in it.

For behold, I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you shall be tilled and sown.

See, I care about you, and I will pay attention to you. Your ground will be plowed and your crops planted.

Look! I am on your side; I will turn toward you, and you will be tilled and sown.

For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you will be cultivated and sown.

For indeed I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you shall be tilled and sown.

For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn into you, and ye shall be tilled and sown;

Look! I am on your side; I will turn toward you, and you will be tilled and sown.

For, behold, I[ am] for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown:

For indeed, I am on your side; I will turn to you, and you will be plowed and planted.

The desolate land will be cultivated instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass through it. (niv)

The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. (niv)

“ In that day I will respond,” declares the Lord—“ I will respond to the skies, and they will respond to the earth;and the earth will respond to the grain, the new wine and the olive oil, and they will respond to Jezreel.I will plant her for myself in the land; I will show my love to the one I called‘ Not my loved one.’ I will say to those called‘ Not my people,’‘ You are my people’; and they will say,‘ You are my God.’” (niv)

“ The seed will grow well, the vine will yield its fruit, the ground will produce its crops, and the heavens will drop their dew. I will give all these things as an inheritance to the remnant of this people. (niv)

Lord our God, you answered them; you were to Israel a forgiving God, though you punished their misdeeds. (niv)

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (niv)

“ In that day the mountains will drip new wine, and the hills will flow with milk; all the ravines of Judah will run with water. A fountain will flow out of the Lord’s house and will water the valley of acacias. (niv)

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty,“ and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the Lord Almighty. Is there yet any seed left in the barn? Until now, the vine and the fig tree, the pomegranate and the olive tree have not borne fruit.“‘ From this day on I will bless you.’” (niv)
