爾因以色列族之業荒涼而喜、我必依爾所行而報爾、西珥山乎、爾及以東全地、必皆荒涼、則知我乃耶和華、

以色列地既成荒邱、爾西耳山以東四境、靡不悅懌、故我使爾荒蕪、俾知我乃耶和華。

爾見以色列地荒蕪、因而歡樂、我必視爾所為以報爾、西珥山及以東全地必荒蕪、人則知我乃主、

Because you rejoiced when the inheritance of Israel became desolate, that is how I will treat you. You will be desolate, Mount Seir, you and all of Edom. Then they will know that I am the Lord.’”

You were happy when the land of Israel became empty. So I will treat you in the same way. Mount Seir, you will be empty. So will the whole land of Edom. Then you will know that I am the Lord.”

As you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so I will deal with you; you shall be desolate, Mount Seir, and all Edom, all of it. Then they will know that I am the Lord.

You rejoiced at the desolation of Israel’s territory. Now I will rejoice at yours! You will be wiped out, you people of Mount Seir and all who live in Edom! Then you will know that I am the Lord.

因为我的刀在天上已经喝足；这刀必临到以东和我所咒诅的民，要施行审判。耶和华的刀满了血，用脂油和羊羔、公山羊的血，并公绵羊腰子的脂油滋润的；因为耶和华在波斯拉有献祭的事，在以东地大行杀戮。

住乌斯地的以东民哪，只管欢喜快乐；苦杯也必传到你那里；你必喝醉，以致露体。

对它说，主耶和华如此说：西珥山哪，我与你为敌，必向你伸手攻击你，使你荒凉，令人惊骇。我必使你的城邑变为荒场，成为凄凉。你就知道我是耶和华。

你兄弟遭难的日子，你不当瞪眼看着；犹大人被灭的日子，你不当因此欢乐；他们遭难的日子，你不当说狂傲的话。

“耶和华降罚的日子临近万国。你怎样行，他也必照样向你行；你的报应必归到你头上。

耶路撒冷遭难的日子，以东人说：“拆毁，拆毁，直拆到根基！”耶和华啊，求你记念这仇！

还有许多人听见他所做的大事，就从犹太、耶路撒冷、以土买、约旦河外，并推罗、西顿的四方来到他那里。

我必使你永远荒凉，使你的城邑无人居住，你的民就知道我是耶和华。

“抢夺我产业的啊，你们因欢喜快乐，且像踹谷撒欢的母牛犊，又像发嘶声的壮马。

主耶和华如此说：因仇敌说：‘阿哈！这永久的山冈都归我们为业了！’所以要发预言说，主耶和华如此说：因为敌人使你荒凉，四围吞吃，好叫你归与其余的外邦人为业，并且多嘴多舌的人提起你来，百姓也说你有臭名。故此，以色列山要听主耶和华的话。大山小冈、水沟山谷、荒废之地、被弃之城，为四围其余的外邦人所占据、所讥刺的，主耶和华对你们如此说：我真发愤恨如火，责备那其余的外邦人和以东的众人。他们快乐满怀，心存恨恶，将我的地归自己为业，又看为被弃的掠物。

戏笑穷人的，是辱没造他的主；幸灾乐祸的，必不免受罚。

我要降火在玛各和海岛安然居住的人身上，他们就知道我是耶和华。“我要在我民以色列中显出我的圣名，也不容我的圣名再被亵渎，列国人就知道我是耶和华以色列中的圣者。
