‘ Thus says the Lord God:“ The whole earth will rejoice when I make you desolate.

主永恆主這麼說：正當遍地歡喜的時候，我必使你淒涼。

主耶和華曰、全地歡樂之際、我必使爾荒涼、

主耶和華曰、萬姓臚歡之際、必俾爾土、忽變荒蕪、

主天主如是云、全地正歡樂之時、我必使爾忽變荒蕪、

This is what the Sovereign Lord says: While the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.

The Lord and King says,“ The whole earth will be glad. But I will make your land empty.

Thus says the Lord God: While the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.

“ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: The whole world will rejoice when I make you desolate.

“‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: While the whole world rejoices, I will make you a desolation.

This is what the Lord God says:“ As all the earth rejoices, I will make you a desolation.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.

This is what the sovereign LORD says: While the whole earth rejoices, I will turn you into a desolation.

The Lord Yahweh says:“ When the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.

The whole earth is at rest and quiet; They break forth into singing.Indeed the cypress trees rejoice over you, And the cedars of Lebanon, Saying,‘ Since you were cut down, No woodsman has come up against us.’

Then the heavens and the earth and all that is in them Shall sing joyously over Babylon; For the plunderers shall come to her from the north,” says the Lord.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD:“ Behold, My servants shall eat, But you shall be hungry; Behold, My servants shall drink, But you shall be thirsty; Behold, My servants shall rejoice, But you shall be ashamed;Behold, My servants shall sing for joy of heart, But you shall cry for sorrow of heart, And wail for grief of spirit.You shall leave your name as a curse to My chosen; For the Lord GOD will slay you, And call His servants by another name;
