He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.

And he will give rain for the seed with which you sow the ground, and bread, the produce of the ground, which will be rich and plenteous. In that day your livestock will graze in large pastures,and the oxen and the donkeys that work the ground will eat seasoned fodder, which has been winnowed with shovel and fork.

They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat.

They shall come and sing aloud on the height of Zion, and they shall be radiant over the goodness of the Lord, over the grain, the wine, and the oil, and over the young of the flock and the herd; their life shall be like a watered garden, and they shall languish no more.Then shall the young women rejoice in the dance, and the young men and the old shall be merry. I will turn their mourning into joy; I will comfort them, and give them gladness for sorrow.I will feast the soul of the priests with abundance, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, declares the Lord.”

On this mountain the Lord of hosts will make for all peoples a feast of rich food, a feast of well-aged wine, of rich food full of marrow, of aged wine well refined.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.

And I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. And I will summon the grain and make it abundant and lay no famine upon you.I will make the fruit of the tree and the increase of the field abundant, that you may never again suffer the disgrace of famine among the nations.

and you have not delivered me into the hand of the enemy; you have set my feet in a broad place.Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am in distress; my eye is wasted from grief; my soul and my body also.For my life is spent with sorrow, and my years with sighing; my strength fails because of my iniquity, and my bones waste away.

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts: In this place that is waste, without man or beast, and in all of its cities, there shall again be habitations of shepherds resting their flocks.In the cities of the hill country, in the cities of the Shephelah, and in the cities of the Negeb, in the land of Benjamin, the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, flocks shall again pass under the hands of the one who counts them, says the Lord.

And the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase, and they shall be secure in their land. And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke, and deliver them from the hand of those who enslaved them.
