如爾警戒惡人、使彼改悔、彼仍不改悔、則必死於罪、惟爾則自保自保或作救己生命、○

But if you do warn the wicked person to turn from their ways and they do not do so, they will die for their sin, though you yourself will be saved.

But suppose you do warn that sinful person. You tell them to change their ways. But they do not change. Then they will die because they have sinned. But you will have saved yourself.

But if you warn them to repent and they don’t repent, they will die in their sins, but you will have saved yourself.

So beware that what is said in the prophets does not happen to you:

But if you warn the righteous person that he should not sin, and he does not sin, he will indeed live because he listened to your warning, and you will have saved your life.”

Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, moral impurity, promiscuity,idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions,envy, drunkenness, carousing, and anything similar. I tell you about these things in advance— as I told you before— that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of everyone’s blood,

how will we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was first spoken by the Lord and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him.

And that slave who knew his master’s will and didn’t prepare himself or do it will be severely beaten.

Don’t be deceived: God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows he will also reap,because the one who sows to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.

For I have often told you, and now say again with tears, that many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.Their end is destruction; their god is their stomach; their glory is in their shame. They are focused on earthly things,

For this is God’s will, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality,so that each of you knows how to control his own body in sanctification and honor,not with lustful desires, like the Gentiles who don’t know God.This means one must not transgress against and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is an avenger of all these offenses, as we also previously told and warned you.For God has not called us to impurity but to sanctification.Therefore, the person who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who also gives you His Holy Spirit.

For to God we are the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.To some we are an aroma of death leading to death, but to others, an aroma of life leading to life. And who is competent for this?For we are not like the many who market God’s message for profit. On the contrary, we speak with sincerity in Christ, as from God and before God.

After arranging a day with him, many came to him at his lodging. From dawn to dusk he expounded and witnessed about the kingdom of God. He tried to persuade them concerning Jesus from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets.Some were persuaded by what he said, but others did not believe.Disagreeing among themselves, they began to leave after Paul made one statement:“ The Holy Spirit correctly spoke through the prophet Isaiah to your ancestorswhen He said, Go to these people and say: You will listen and listen, yet never understand; and you will look and look, yet never perceive.For the hearts of these people have grown callous, their ears are hard of hearing, and they have shut their eyes; otherwise they might see with their eyes and hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and be converted, and I would heal them.Therefore, let it be known to you that this saving work of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will listen!”

And we exhort you, brothers: warn those who are irresponsible, comfort the discouraged, help the weak, be patient with everyone.

But sexual immorality and any impurity or greed should not even be heard of among you, as is proper for saints.Coarse and foolish talking or crude joking are not suitable, but rather giving thanks.For know and recognize this: Every sexually immoral or impure or greedy person, who is an idolater, does not have an inheritance in the kingdom of the Messiah and of God.Let no one deceive you with empty arguments, for God’s wrath is coming on the disobedient because of these things.

When Silas and Timothy came down from Macedonia, Paul was occupied with preaching the message and solemnly testified to the Jews that Jesus is the Messiah.But when they resisted and blasphemed, he shook his robe and told them,“ Your blood is on your own heads! I am innocent. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”

Make sure that you do not reject the One who speaks. For if they did not escape when they rejected Him who warned them on earth, even less will we if we turn away from Him who warns us from heaven.

Therefore I told you that you will die in your sins. For if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”

Discipline is harsh for the one who leaves the path; the one who hates correction will die.

One who becomes stiff-necked, after many reprimands will be shattered instantly— beyond recovery.
