“ So you, son of man: I have set you a watchman to the house of Israel. Therefore hear the word from my mouth, and give them warnings from me.

“人子啊！我立了你作以色列家守望的人，所以你要聆聽我口中的話，替我警告他們。

『所以你，人子啊，我立了你做以色列家的守望者；你若從我口中聽到話語，總要替我警告他們。

人子歟、我立爾為以色列家之戍卒、其聽我口所言、為我警之、

人子、我使爾為戍卒、稽察以色列家、必聽我命、代我示民、

惟爾人子歟、我為以色列人立爾為守望者、爾由我口聽言、代我示之以警戒、

“ Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.

“ Son of man, I have appointed you as a prophet to warn the people of Israel. So listen to my message. Give them a warning from me.

“ So you, son of man, I have made a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me.

“ Now, son of man, I am making you a watchman for the people of Israel. Therefore, listen to what I say and warn them for me.

“ As for you, son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. When you hear a word from my mouth, give them a warning from me.

“ Now as for you, son of man, I have appointed you as a watchman for the house of Israel; so you will hear a message from My mouth and give them a warning from Me.

“ So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me.

So thou, son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.

“ As for you, son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. When you hear a word from My mouth, give them a warning from Me.

So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

“ As for you, son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you must warn them on my behalf.

“ Yahweh says:‘ Stand in the court of Yahweh’s house, and speak to all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in Yahweh’s house, all the words that I command you to speak to them. Don’t omit a word.

“ Son of man, I have made you a watchman to the house of Israel. Therefore hear the word from my mouth, and warn them from me.When I tell the wicked,‘ You will surely die;’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; that wicked man will die in his iniquity; but I will require his blood at your hand.Yet if you warn the wicked, and he doesn’t turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he will die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.”“ Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he will die. Because you have not given him warning, he will die in his sin, and his righteous deeds which he has done will not be remembered; but I will require his blood at your hand.Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man, that the righteous not sin, and he does not sin, he will surely live, because he took warning; and you have delivered your soul.”

“ Go stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.”

You shall speak my words to them, whether they will hear, or whether they will refuse; for they are most rebellious.But you, son of man, hear what I tell you. Don’t be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth, and eat that which I give you.”

Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they watch on behalf of your souls, as those who will give account, that they may do this with joy, and not with groaning, for that would be unprofitable for you.

“ You therefore put your belt on your waist, arise, and say to them all that I command you. Don’t be dismayed at them, lest I dismay you before them.

I have set watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem. They will never be silent day nor night. You who call on Yahweh, take no rest,

Finally then, brothers, we beg and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, that you abound more and more.For you know what instructions we gave you through the Lord Jesus.

For I received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night in which he was betrayed took bread.

The watchmen who go about the city found me;“ Have you seen him whom my soul loves?”

The watchmen who go about the city found me. They beat me. They bruised me. The keepers of the walls took my cloak away from me.

We proclaim him, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus;for which I also labor, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily.

The king said to him,“ How many times do I have to adjure you that you speak to me nothing but the truth in Yahweh’s name?”He said,“ I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. Yahweh said,‘ These have no master. Let them each return to his house in peace.’”The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ Didn’t I tell you that he would not prophesy good concerning me, but evil?”Micaiah said,“ Therefore hear Yahweh’s word. I saw Yahweh sitting on his throne, and all the army of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.Yahweh said,‘ Who will entice Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth Gilead?’ One said one thing; and another said another.A spirit came out and stood before Yahweh, and said,‘ I will entice him.’Yahweh said to him,‘ How?’ He said,‘ I will go out and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ He said,‘ You will entice him, and will also prevail. Go out and do so.’Now therefore, behold, Yahweh has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets; and Yahweh has spoken evil concerning you.”Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said,“ Which way did Yahweh’s Spirit go from me to speak to you?”Micaiah said,“ Behold, you will see on that day, when you go into an inner room to hide yourself.”The king of Israel said,“ Take Micaiah, and carry him back to Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king’s son.Say,‘ The king says,“ Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace.”’”Micaiah said,“ If you return at all in peace, Yahweh has not spoken by me.” He said,“ Listen, all you people!”

Therefore I testify to you today that I am clean from the blood of all men,for I didn’t shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.

The best of them is like a brier. The most upright is worse than a thorn hedge. The day of your watchmen, even your visitation, has come; now is the time of their confusion.

“ I have made you a tester of metals and a fortress among my people, that you may know and try their way.

For there will be a day that the watchmen on the hills of Ephraim cry,‘ Arise! Let’s go up to Zion to Yahweh our God.’”

The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream; and he who has my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the straw to the wheat?” says Yahweh.

Whenever any controversy comes to you from your brothers who dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and ordinances, you must warn them, that they not be guilty toward Yahweh, and so wrath come on you and on your brothers. Do this, and you will not be guilty.

For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

how I didn’t shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, teaching you publicly and from house to house,

Micaiah said,“ As Yahweh lives, what Yahweh says to me, that I will speak.”

He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;
