人子啊，你要对本国的百姓说：义人的义，在他犯罪之日不能救他；至于恶人的恶，在他转离恶行之日不会使他倾倒；义人在他犯罪之日不能因自己的义存活。

人子啊，你要对本国的子民说：义人的义，在犯罪之日不能救他；至于恶人的恶，在他转离恶行之日也不能使他倾倒；义人在犯罪之日也不能因他的义存活。

人子啊，你要对你的同胞说，‘当义人犯罪时，他以往的义救不了他；当恶人悔改时，他以往的恶不会使他灭没。义人若犯罪，他以往的义不能使他存活。’

人子啊！你要对你本国的人说：‘义人的义在他犯罪的日子，不能救他；恶人的恶在他离开恶行的日子，也不会绊倒他；义人在他犯罪的日子，也不能因他的义存活。’

人子啊！你要對你本國的人說：‘義人的義在他犯罪的日子，不能救他；惡人的惡在他離開惡行的日子，也不會絆倒他；義人在他犯罪的日子，也不能因他的義存活。’

人子啊，你要對你本國的子民說：義人犯法時，他的義也不能援救他；惡人回轉時，他的惡也不能使他因而跌倒；義人犯罪時，他也不能因他的義而活着。

人子歟、謂爾民族曰、義人干罪之日、其義不能救之、惡人去惡之日、其惡不能隕之、義人干罪之日、不能藉其義而得生、

人子、當告民云、如善人陷罪、不因前善而獲救、惡人悛改、不因舊惡而殞亡、

惟爾人子歟、當告爾民曰、善人若有時犯罪、其前善不能救之、惡人若悔改其惡、其前惡不能害之、善人獲罪之日、不能恃其前善以得生、

“ Therefore, son of man, say to your people,‘ If someone who is righteous disobeys, that person’s former righteousness will count for nothing. And if someone who is wicked repents, that person’s former wickedness will not bring condemnation. The righteous person who sins will not be allowed to live even though they were formerly righteous.’

“ Son of man, speak to your people. Tell them,‘ Suppose a godly person does not obey the Lord. Then the right things that person has done in the past count for nothing. Suppose a sinful person turns away from doing wrong things. Then the wrong things that person has done in the past won’t bring them judgment. A godly person who sins won’t be allowed to live. That’s true even though they used to do right things.’

“ And you, son of man, say to your people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him when he transgresses, and as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall by it when he turns from his wickedness, and the righteous shall not be able to live by his righteousness when he sins.

“ Son of man, give your people this message: The righteous behavior of righteous people will not save them if they turn to sin, nor will the wicked behavior of wicked people destroy them if they repent and turn from their sins.

“ Now, son of man, say to your people,‘ The righteousness of the righteous person will not save him on the day of his transgression; neither will the wickedness of the wicked person cause him to stumble on the day he turns from his wickedness. The righteous person won’t be able to survive by his righteousness on the day he sins.

And you, son of man, say to your fellow citizens,‘ The righteousness of a righteous one will not save him on the day of his offense, and as for the wickedness of a wicked one, he will not stumble because of it on the day when he turns from his wickedness; whereas a righteous one will not be able to live by his righteousness on the day when he commits sin.’

“ Therefore you, O son of man, say to the children of your people:‘ The righteousness of the righteous man shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression; as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall because of it in the day that he turns from his wickedness; nor shall the righteous be able to live because of his righteousness in the day that he sins.’

And thou, son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression; and as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall he that is righteous be able to live thereby in the day that he sinneth.

“ Now, son of man, say to your people: The righteousness of the righteous person will not save him on the day of his transgression; neither will the wickedness of the wicked person cause him to stumble on the day he turns from his wickedness. The righteous person won’t be able to survive by his righteousness on the day he sins.

Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his[ righteousness] in the day that he sinneth.

“ And you, son of man, say to your people,‘ The righteousness of the righteous will not deliver him if he rebels. As for the wicked, his wickedness will not make him stumble if he turns from it. The righteous will not be able to live by his righteousness if he sins.’

“ You, son of man, tell the children of your people,‘ The righteousness of the righteous will not deliver him in the day of his disobedience. And as for the wickedness of the wicked, he will not fall by it in the day that he turns from his wickedness; neither will he who is righteous be able to live by it in the day that he sins.

义人转离自己的义作恶，他必因此而死亡。恶人转离他的恶，行公平公义的事，他必因此而存活。

这称为我名下的子民，若是谦卑自己，祷告，寻求我的面，转离他们的恶行，我必从天上垂听，赦免他们的罪，医治他们的地。

神设立耶稣作赎罪祭，是凭耶稣的血，藉着信，要显明神的义；因为他用忍耐的心宽容人先前所犯的罪，好使今时显明他的义，让人知道他自己为义，也称信耶稣的人为义。

我的孩子们哪，我把这些话写给你们，是要你们不犯罪。若有人犯罪，在父那里我们有一位中保，就是那义者耶稣基督。

至于义人，他若转离义行而作恶，照着恶人所做一切可憎的事去做，岂能存活呢？他所行的一切义都不被记念；反而因所行的恶、所犯的罪死亡。“你们却说：‘主的道不公平！’以色列家啊，你们要听，我的道不公平吗？你们的道不是不公平吗？义人若转离义行而作恶，他就因这些恶而死亡。他要死在他所作的恶中。恶人若回转离开所行的恶，行公平公义的事，他必救自己的命；因为他省察，回转离开所犯的一切罪过，他必要存活，不致死亡。以色列家还说：‘主的道不公平！’以色列家啊，我的道不公平吗？你们的道不是不公平吗？所以，以色列家啊，我必按你们各人所做的审判你们。当回转，回转离开你们一切的罪过，免得罪孽成为你们的绊脚石。这是主耶和华说的。你们要把所犯的一切罪过尽行抛弃，为自己造一个新的心和新的灵。以色列家啊，你们为什么要死呢？我不喜欢有任何人死亡，所以你们当回转，要存活！这是主耶和华说的。”

“恶人若回转离开所做的一切罪恶，谨守我的一切律例，行公平公义的事，他必要存活，不致死亡。

“人子啊，你要吩咐本国的百姓，对他们说：我使刀剑临到哪一国，哪一国的百姓从他们中间选立一人，作为守望者。

他们若在掳他们的仇敌之地尽心尽性归向你，又向自己的地，就是你赐给他们列祖的地和你所选择的城，以及我为你名所建造的这殿祷告，求你在天上你的居所垂听他们的祷告祈求，为他们伸张正义，饶恕得罪你的子民，赦免他们向你所犯一切的过犯，使他们在掳他们的人面前蒙怜悯。

但是义人若转离他的义而作恶，我要把绊脚石放在他面前，他必死亡；因你没有警戒他，他必死在罪中，他素来所行的义不被记念；我却要从你手里讨他的血债。倘若你警戒义人，使他不犯罪，他就不犯罪；他因领受警戒就必存活，你也救了自己的命。”

“有一件事，你们的意见如何？一个人有两个儿子。他来对大儿子说：‘孩子，今天到葡萄园里做工去。’他回答：‘我不去’，以后自己懊悔，就去了。他来对小儿子也是这样说。他回答：‘父亲大人，我去’，却不去。这两个儿子是哪一个照着父亲的意愿做了呢？”他们说：“大儿子。”耶稣说：“我实在告诉你们，税吏和娼妓倒比你们先进神的国。
