“‘ Which of the trees of Eden can be compared with you in splendor and majesty? Yet you, too, will be brought down with the trees of Eden to the earth below; you will lie among the uncircumcised, with those killed by the sword.“‘ This is Pharaoh and all his hordes, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”

“ Which one of the trees of Eden can be compared with you? What tree is as glorious and majestic as you are? But you too will be brought down to the earth below. There you will join the trees of Eden. You will lie down with those who have not been circumcised. You will be among those who were killed by swords.“ That is what will happen to Pharaoh and his huge armies,” announces the Lord and King.

“ Whom are you thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? You shall be brought down with the trees of Eden to the world below. You shall lie among the uncircumcised, with those who are slain by the sword.“ This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, declares the Lord God.”

“ O Egypt, to which of the trees of Eden will you compare your strength and glory? You, too, will be brought down to the depths with all these other nations. 爾與不潔者流、同歸陵塚、則爾昔日婉孌超群、卒安在哉、

強悍之輩、不潔之民、亡於鋒刃、俱下陰府、見埃及王及助之者、亦至於斯、必與之言、

爾必被異邦人所殺、與不潔者偕亡、我耶和華已言之矣。

曰、彼其之子、輕上帝之能力、恃一己之貨財、強悍作惡兮、

凡聞天國之道而不悟、惡鬼至、奪其心之所播、此播於道傍者也、

人子、當問埃及王法老、及其庶民爾有威可畏、誰能比儗。

我斫柏香木使下幽冥之所、與歸墓者無異、列邦人民、聞其下墜之聲、靡不震動、埃田林木、與利巴嫩之佳樹、素得灌溉、後至枯槁、見其隕落、則怨心悉平、

耶和華曰、時日將至、受割與未受割者、我悉降罰、使之同刑、埃及、猶大、以東、亞捫、摩押、與薙鬚之四周、居於曠野者、俱未受割、以色列族心未受割、皆遭重譴。

或立於傍、大闢問之曰、能殺此非利士人、洒恥於以色列族者、將何所得。非利士人未受割禮、安敢侮永生上帝之軍乎。

毋播於迦特邑、毋揚於亞實基倫衢、恐非利士人之女、聞之懽然、恐未受割者之女、聆而欣喜。

凡我良朋、宜戒拜偶像、

枝葉向榮、葱蒨可悅、我使之然、上帝囿中諸木、亦嫉其高、

患難之際、亞哈士王愈犯耶和華、

君民眾多、見我揮劍、罰爾之日、必畏懼駭愕、恐喪生命、戰慄不已、

獅與熊尚被僕所殺、此未受割禮之非利士人、既侮永生上帝之軍、亦必如是。

食間、耶穌取餅、祝而擘之、予門徒曰、取食之、斯乃我身焉、又取杯、祝而予之曰、爾徧飲之、此乃我血、即新約之血、為眾流、以赦罪者也、
