In every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king questioned them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters in his whole kingdom. (niv)

He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him. (niv)

There is a man in your kingdom who has the spirit of the holy gods in him. In the time of your father he was found to have insight and intelligence and wisdom like that of the gods. Your father, King Nebuchadnezzar, appointed him chief of the magicians, enchanters, astrologers and diviners.He did this because Daniel, whom the king called Belteshazzar, was found to have a keen mind and knowledge and understanding, and also the ability to interpret dreams, explain riddles and solve difficult problems. Solomon answered all her questions; nothing was too hard for the king to explain to her. (niv)

Daniel replied,“ No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about,but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries. He has shown King Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in days to come. Your dream and the visions that passed through your mind as you were lying in bed are these: (niv)

The Lord confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. (niv)

Do you listen in on God’s council? Do you have a monopoly on wisdom? (niv)

God gave Solomon wisdom and very great insight, and a breadth of understanding as measureless as the sand on the seashore.Solomon’s wisdom was greater than the wisdom of all the people of the East, and greater than all the wisdom of Egypt.He was wiser than anyone else, including Ethan the Ezrahite— wiser than Heman, Kalkol and Darda, the sons of Mahol. And his fame spread to all the surrounding nations.He spoke three thousand proverbs and his songs numbered a thousand and five. (niv)

and on Hamath too, which borders on it, and on Tyre and Sidon, though they are very skillful.Tyre has built herself a stronghold; she has heaped up silver like dust, and gold like the dirt of the streets. (niv)

The king said to Daniel,“ Surely your God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this mystery.”Then the king placed Daniel in a high position and lavished many gifts on him. He made him ruler over the entire province of Babylon and placed him in charge of all its wise men. (niv)
