當罕譬而喻、以示違逆之家、曰、主耶和華曰、置鼎於火、盛之於水、

Tell this rebellious people a parable and say to them:‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says:“‘ Put on the cooking pot; put it on and pour water into it.

Your people refuse to obey me. So tell them a story. Say to them,‘ The Lord and King told me,“‘ “Put a cooking pot on the fire. Pour water into it.

And utter a parable to the rebellious house and say to them, Thus says the Lord God:“ Set on the pot, set it on; pour in water also;

Then give these rebels an illustration with this message from the Sovereign Lord:“ Put a pot on the fire, and pour in some water.

Now speak a parable to the rebellious house. Tell them,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: Put the pot on the fire— put it on, and then pour water into it!

Present a parable to the rebellious house and say to them,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ Put on the pot, put it on and also pour water into it;

And utter a parable to the rebellious house, and say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord GOD:“ Put on a pot, set it on, And also pour water into it.

And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Set on the caldron, set it on, and also pour water into it:

Now speak a parable to the rebellious house. Tell them: This is what the Lord God says: Put the pot on the fire— put it on, and then pour water into it!

Recite a proverb to this rebellious house and say to them,‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says:“‘ Set on the pot, set it on, pour water in it too;

人子、當設隱語、立譬言、示以色列族、

我以西結曰、主天主歟、哀哉、人指我云、彼所言俱隱語、

彼云、災禍尚遠、仍可建室、此邑若釜、我儕若肉、

惟爾人子、勿畏之、勿畏其言、彼雖忤逆之族、向爾若荊棘蒺藜、爾若坐在蠍中、勿懼其言、勿畏其威、勿畏其威或作勿於其前驚惶

天乎聽哉、地其傾聞、因主有言曰、我養子而撫之、彼反忤逆乎我、

諭我曰、人子、我遣爾就以色列人、即悖逆之族、悖逆我者、彼與其列祖獲罪於我、迄於今日、

主天主如是云、斯邑有殺人流血之事、禍必臨之、可比有銹之釜、銹未除於其中、當以肉塊、一一取於其中、不庸掣籤以選、

我啟口設喻言、述說古來之隱語、

主曰、禍哉此悖逆之子、自行其謀、不順從我、灌奠結盟、不循我心意、其罪益加、

惟爾人子、聽我所諭爾、爾勿忤逆、若彼忤逆之族、啟口食我所賜爾者、

蓋斯為悖逆之民、誑言之子、不願聽主法之子、

當告悖逆之族曰、爾曹知是乎、可告之曰、巴比倫王至耶路撒冷、將其王與牧伯遷至巴比倫、

答曰、天主國之奧、乃賜爾知之、惟於他人則設喻、使其視亦不見、聽亦不悟、

主復有言諭我曰、爾觀何物、曰、我觀沸釜、其釜北向、其釜北向或作釜氣自北而至

言曰、爾強項、心不悟、耳不聰之人、恆逆聖神、爾祖如是、爾曹亦如是、

爾母將何以譬之、可譬牝獅、伏於眾獅間、在稚獅中養育其子、養其子之一、成為壯獅、學攫物噬人、列國聞之、陷於坑坎、繫以鐵索、繫以鐵索或作以鐵索貫其鼻下同曳至伊及地、牝獅久俟、見己失望、則又取其子之一、養之為壯獅、既為壯獅、往來於眾獅間、學攫物噬人、害其嫠婦、害其嫠婦或作拆其宮室毀其城邑、因其吼聲、徧地荒蕪、因其吼聲徧地荒蕪或作地之居民因其吼聲而惶恐四周邦國之諸族、咸來攻之、為張網羅、陷於坑坎、繫以鐵索、置之籠中、曳至巴比倫王所、囚於獄中、囚於獄中或作攜入保障使其吼聲、不復聞於以色列山、○爾母亦可譬諸葡萄樹、植於水濱、因水多故果繁枝茂、枝柯堅強、堪為秉權者之杖、杖或作圭下同其株甚高、在枝葉暢茂之中、高枝繁多、自遠處可見、乃忿然忿然或作猛然見拔、拋擲於地、東風暴其果、堅強之枝柯被折、遂致枯槁、為火所焚、今植於曠野旱乾無水之地、有火自枝幹而出、焚燬其果、復無堅強之枝柯、堪為秉權者之杖、此則可哀、可用以作哀歌、

爾曹於邑中、邑不為爾為釜、爾必為肉於其中、我必在以色列地之邊界罰爾、

蓋言者乃我、我原文作主我所言者必成之、不復遲延、悖逆之族歟、我所言者、我必於爾尚存之日成之、此乃主天主所言、○

其人知耶穌設此諭、乃指己而言、欲執之而畏民、乃離之而去、○

人子、爾居悖逆之族中、彼有目可見而不見、有耳可聽而不聽、因屬悖逆之族、○

當是日人將為爾曹作諷歌、為爾曹作悲痛之哀歌云、我儕盡敗亡、敗亡或作衰敗彼使我民之業、為他人所得、使我民之業為他人所得原文作變我民之業使我所有、俱與我離、以我田疇、分予悖逆者、

我使爾額堅如金剛石、較火石猶堅、彼忤逆之族、勿懼其眾、勿畏其威、勿畏其威或作勿於其前驚惶○

故主天主如是云、爾於邑中所殺者、其屍若肉、斯邑若釜、惟爾曹我必逐出其中、

惟彼悖逆、使主之聖神懷憂、主則視之如敵而攻擊之、

因主震怒、巴比倫永無人居、盡為荒蕪、凡過之者、見其諸災、必驚異哂笑、凡爾張弓者、當圍巴比倫、列陣以射之、勿惜其矢、因巴比倫獲罪於主、
