彼所為者、爾必為之、不掩爾口、不食人之所供、

以西結所為者、爾必為之、不掩爾口、不食苦餅。

爾曹必為我以西結所為者、不掩爾口、不食人為喪事所供之食物、

And you will do as I have done. You will not cover your mustache and beard or eat the customary food of mourners.

So do what Ezekiel did. Do not cover your mustache and beard. Do not eat the food people eat to comfort them when someone dies.

And you shall do as I have done; you shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men.

Then you will do as Ezekiel has done. You will not mourn in public or console yourselves by eating the food brought by friends.

Then you will do just as I have done: You will not cover your mustache or eat the bread of mourners.

And you will do just as I have done; you will not cover your mustache, and you will not eat the bread of other people.

And you shall do as I have done; you shall not cover your lips nor eat man’s bread of sorrow.

那時，若一房之內剩下十個人，也都必死。死人的叔伯要把屍首抬到屋外焚燒，就問房屋內間的人說：「你那裏還有別人嗎？」他說：「沒有。」又說：「不要作聲，不可提耶和華的名。」

祭司倒在刀下，寡婦卻不哀哭。

一聽見敵人壯馬蹄踏的響聲、戰車隆隆、車輪轟轟，為父的手就發軟，不能回頭看顧兒女。

他遺留的人必死而埋葬，他的寡婦也不哀哭。

他們必死於致命的疾病，無人哀哭，不得埋葬，在地上如糞土，因刀劍和饑荒而滅絕；他們的屍首必給空中的飛鳥和地上的走獸作食物。「耶和華如此說：不要進入喪家，不要去哀哭，也不要為他們悲傷，因我已使我的平安、慈愛、憐憫離開這百姓。這是耶和華說的。他們連大帶小，都必在這地死亡，不得埋葬。人必不為他們哀哭，不為他們割劃自己，也不剃光頭。有喪事，人不為他們擘餅，也不因死人安慰他們；他們喪父喪母，人也不給他們一杯酒安慰他們。

「人子，看哪，我要以災病奪取你眼中所喜愛的，你卻不可悲哀哭泣，也不可流淚，只可嘆息，不可出聲，不可辦理喪事；裹上頭巾，腳上穿鞋，不可摀着鬍鬚，也不可吃一般人的食物。」
