“ They even sent messengers for men who came from far away, and when they arrived you bathed yourself for them, applied eye makeup and put on your jewelry.

你這被毀滅的啊，你要做甚麼呢？你穿上朱紅衣服，佩戴黃金飾物，用眼影修飾眼睛，徒然美化你自己。戀慕你的卻藐視你，尋索你的性命。

耶戶到了耶斯列。耶洗別聽見了，就畫眼影、梳頭，從窗戶往外觀看。

這樣，你就有金銀的首飾，穿的是細麻衣和精緻衣料，以及錦繡衣裳；吃的是細麵、蜂蜜和油。你也極其美貌，配登王后之位。你美貌的名聲傳到列國，因我加給你榮華，使你完美。這是主耶和華說的。「只是你仗着自己美貌，又憑着你的名聲行淫。你向路人縱情淫亂，你的美貌就屬於他的了。你拿你的衣服為自己做成彩色丘壇，在其上行淫。這樣的事本不該有，以後也不該發生。

你帶了油到摩洛那裏，加上許多香水。你派遣使者往遠方去，甚至降到陰間，

到那日，主必除掉華美的足飾、額帶、月牙圈、耳環、手鐲、面紗、頭巾、足鏈、華帶、香盒、符囊、戒指、鼻環、禮服、外套、披肩、皮包、手鏡、細麻衣、頭飾、紗巾。

看哪，有一個女子來迎接他，是妓女的打扮，有詭詐的心思。

你要沐浴抹膏，穿上外衣，下到禾場，一直到那人吃喝完了，都不要讓他認出你來。

眾女子照例先塗抹身體十二個月：六個月用沒藥油，六個月用香料和塗抹的香膏。滿了日期，每個女子挨次進去朝見亞哈隨魯王。

希西家聽使者的話，就將自己一切寶庫裏的金子、銀子、香料、貴重的膏油和他軍械庫裏的兵器，以及他所有的財寶，都給他們看；在他家中和全國之內，希西家沒有一樣東西不給他們看的。於是以賽亞先知到希西家王那裏去，對他說：「這些人說了些甚麼？他們從哪裏來見你？」希西家說：「他們從遠方的巴比倫來。」以賽亞說：「他們在你家裏看見了甚麼？」希西家說：「凡我家中所有的，他們都看見了；我財寶中沒有一樣東西不給他們看的。」

我看見她被污辱，姊妹二人同行一路。
